youdontsay Sorry for the uncertainty and that your OB dropped the ball at scheduling you earlier! thelorax thanks for the tip about the Circo brand!! Rama Omg! Glad YH is ok but sucks about your car! hashbrownnofilter I'm sorry for the bad day! Glad YH is ok! joy sorry for the GBS+ hummingbird125 No induction experience but want to offer my internet ((hugs))! shehulk723 I hope you don't get sick! You're a great mommy for sleeping on the floor pregnant!
I am so sorry, Rama! I fear that exact situation. My car (our only) is 16 years old and in bad shape, so it wouldn't even take an accident to hurt us. Our only saving grace is that I might drive 10-20 miles a WEEK at this point, so we are hoping it lasts longer. If I was commuting still, I woukd be in fear every day. Hopefully a reliable and nicely priced vehicle finds you!
Dealing with a personally difficult hurdle this morning... can I get in on the hug lineup? I got lots to give back!
Also, I have been pretty lucky both pregnancies and had next to no swelling at all. Until today, my fingers are like sausages, hard to bend, and my toes were trying to follow suit. I finally gave up any productivity and lay down and it seems to be receding, but I am just as glad I have my dr. appt this afternoon.
I feel like I'm back in 1st Tri! The last few days I've had absolutely no energy and get nauseous. Trying to stay hydrated but the water is making me sick. Anybody else feel this way?
Yes I throw up almost daily- sometimes multiple times. There is just so little room for everything, but I know it will ease up as soon as #2 comes out.
hummingbird125 FWIW, I've had 3 inductions. For one I was 4cm and mostly effaced going in, but for the other 2 I wasn't effaced or dilated at all. All 3 were the same level of pain, same length (the one where I was dilated to start was actually longest by a couple hours), and all resulted in vaginal births. I hope yours works out too!
hummingbird125 when I was induced with DD I was 1 cm dilated and 90% effaced and it was successful. Induction started Sunday at 6 (cervadil) I had her Monday at 7:50 (after pitocin and breaking my water)

For Sunday at 6 and Monday at 7:50, is it PM and AM or?

So for the first time ever in pregnancy, my feet and ankles have been swelling, but mostly just my right side. Also I have spider veins on my right calf. I hadn't thought much of this (other than the annoyance), but stumbled across something saying one-sided swelling could indicate a blood clot. However I don't have pain or tenderness in that leg, which is supposed to accompany the swelling.
I guess I should bring that up at my appointment tomorrow anyway, huh?
I'm kinda freaking out. Have my section time for tomorrow ugh I'm so scared and anxious and worried about DD and we still can't agree on names oh man this is all overwhelming

Just breathe mama - you'll do great! We're still up in the air on names too (trying to narrow it down).
Today has been the longest day ever. I'm tired and the kids are tired (but of course wouldn't nap) and I'm counting down until DH gets home from work. Hopefully DH can take the first baby shift tonight and I can go to bed early.

*hugs* I hope it goes smoothly tomorrow. Focus on one problem at at time. Section first, names after, healing after that. You've definitely got this. <3

Hugs!!! I imagine it's completely normal to freak out the day before you give birth. Everything is going to be ok.
I'm so excited for the Olympic's! I was hoping #2 would be out so I could fully focus during Amal, but still I love the Olympics!
This might be a stupid question but how do I watch it? Is there a specific channel that is airing most of the events or do I have to look up the events I want to see?
