So here's a question: I need to order B some swim trunks for our beach trip. Do I get the matching rash guards? In the past, he hasn't worn them, b/c we only went in the late afternoon, but I'm thinking he should probably have a couple since we'll be out for a longer portion of the day. Thoughts?
Also, Carter's is doing 50% off, with an extra 25 if you spend $50 or more (not hard).
I think they're a good idea. I got a set of trunks with matching rash guard on Amazon lightening deals yesterday for $18. They have another set coming up today with little anchors, if you're interested. Can't remember the exact time, but I think within the next couple hours the deal starts.

I love the rash guards. I feel like it's not as cold for him when he goes in the water too. I have three upcoming vacations. Maybe I should buy this kid some new clothes.

This is a good point...the water is still somewhat chilly this time of year, even where we're headed.
Yes to rash guards. An extra layer of protection against the sun is never a bad thing.
Sorry C is so sick, cher.
This exactly. V wore rash guards all summer last year. We took her to the Caribbean and she wore them even when we went swimming early in the morning or in the evening. The protection from the sun and added layer in case the water is a little chilly for them is always good.
I'm pretty sure I've never called off work because of my period in my life, but I sure as shit did today. This is unusually ridiculous. I'm almost starting to worry something is wrong. I took Layla in to daycare and I plan to lay in bed with my heating pad and trashy TV all day. No fucks!
Omg this sounds amazing! I have a bicornate uterus and I have pretty intense periods. Hope you get to relax and sleep, you deserve it.
Does anyone else's kid think fatring is funny yet?
I was changing her this morning, and she farted. I laughed "little tooter butt!" She smiled, farted again, smiled bigger, then I could tell she was trying to fart, which she did a 3rd time, and started laughing at herself.
Between fart "jokes" and the way she laughs when she sees boobies (we still nurse 2-3 times/day, she laughs every time I raise my shirt ) I'd swear I have a 12-year-old boy instead of a 1-year-old girl!
mskatiep I hope you feel better soon! Enjoy being home today!
Cherhorowitz enjoy the cuddles. Hope you and the boy feel better ASAP.
This anti-vaxxer nonsense is so out of control. I still can't believe people are really so selfish and stupid. I couldn't get through that article, it made me so ragey.
klongoria11 I know. We're getting a nice one this year, too. Of course, Mr Practical/DH wants to save and invest most of it, but I presented him with a list of demands requests
I just bought the UPPAbaby 2015 jake umbrella stroller. I'm so fucken excited. I hate my current stroller and so pissed off I spent 700$ on that POS.
Anyone of the UPPAbaby jake? Do you like it?
I so wish I had registered for a nicer umbrella stroller. I have the Bob regular stroller, but a cheapy umbrella one. I've been thinking about getting something nicer. C deserves to ride in luxury Let me know how it is!
@surelycantbesrs that's really dangerous! I don't know what the rules are but is that getting into the endangerment zone? Like, the needs to be reported to CPS kind of thing?
