DD went down at 10 and just woke at 1:30. Changed and fed her and she's already back asleep!! Husband is in guest bed because he wanted a good nights sleep so I didn't even have to get out of bed to change her. Now I want to do this every night!!sorry DH!
Same here! DH has been sleeping in the spare bedroom since he has a cold and is a loud sleeper when sick. Last night was great and I'm hoping tonight is, too. We just got a 10-2 stretch!!
Omg I just got 3 straight hours of horizontal sleeping!!! G sept in the pnp!! I had to lay him down completely asleep, but whatever. I'm so happy!
I jostle E just a tiny bit and she will adjust in her sleep but I definitely don't wake her up completely to lay her in her crib. Unless your baby is magical, it's not worth going all the way at this point!

Ugh.. E does not want to sleep tonight! She's been up since 8:30 nursing on and off every half hour or so. I keep putting her down in hopes she will sleep but then she's wiggling 10 minutes later and then cries and is rooting again. :-(
I'm up timing contractions. Haven't really fallen deep asleep yet. They're pretty close together but I don't think they're quite strong enough yet. Definitely real ones but I could talk through them for sure.
By body is also 'cleaning itself out' for the third time tonight. I might hop in the shower next, but I know that will wake my Mom up and I'd rather let people sleep.

My life. This is when I give formula or try and nurse to sleep in the chair. Sorry she's giving you a rough time

Well it seems like E will give me a solid stretch every night from 10-2. After that the night is a haze. I guess I'll take the 4 hour stretch and be happy. I really wish he'd give me another one now... we'll see how he feels after he's topped off.

It's been a rough night. Probably the worst since we came home :-(. She did let me sleep 12:30-3 but then was up for another hour. Hoping for all the naps today.
The girls sleep great at the beginning of the night but after midnight it falls apart. They slept 7-1130 then up at 130, 330-5 then slept 5-630. I have no idea why they were up from 330-5. There was lots of grunting and occasional crying so maybe gas?
C also falls apart after midnight. He won't let me put him down without waking up and wanting to eat again. If I hold him he sleeps. He also has awake periods some nights, usually because I tried to put him down.

I have a 5 year line a day journal that I started when DS was about 5 months. One of the first entries is that he started to put himself to sleep at night without crying finally and then about the first night my husband had bedtime duty alone and I went out for dinner and wine with friends. I will be using those entries as motivation in these early days for sure! Just have to remember these nights don't last!!
I hope no posts means everyone is getting some sleep. We have had a rough night. Every time I attempt to put DD down she wakes up. So frustrating!! I'm about to give it more try and then pull her into bed with me if it doesn't go well. I'm so tired!

Enjoy the rest watermelonseed! E stayed asleep when I put him down! One more decent stretch and it'll be a perfect night. I still feel so tired right now., so I could really use it!!
Team can't be put down tonight. DH did take him in the beginning and gave him some pumped milk so I got about 3 hrs of sleep. But I've been holding him since like 2 and he has been wiggly so I haven't really slept.
2 wake ups last night and I feel so much more like a human! I can handle wake ups and feedings at midnight and 330 if they right back down like last night.
We tried nursing in bed and co-sleeping last night out of desperation. Not a fan... I got some sleep but I was super uncomfortable and she basically used me as a pacifier for an hour at one point. I'm going to try keeping her upright longer after nursing tonight in hopes that she doesn't get hiccups or spit up. I'd been doing 5 minutes but I will start 15 I guess. If it saves me hours, it's worth it!
