We've got a birthday lunch tomorrow but that's the only set plan for this weekend. Wee! I'd like to finish cleaning my floors, because I know how to live it up. I also want to make soup. I'll have to see what we have on hand, though. Maybe I could swing tomato soup, and grilled cheese using rye!

H is in Louisville for the game today. DD had me up early as usual. We went and got Taco Bell breakfast which I will regret later. But for now, I plan on being incredibly lazy.
We're leaving for Pittsburgh this morning for the Steeler's game tomorrow. MIL is going to watch DS so it will be a date for DH and I, if the weather cooperates.
kristhegirl No, you're not old! It's just NMS, like most music from this millennium. My earworm for the day yesterday was "Hungry Eyes," which popped into my head thanks to our basset hound ogling DS's lunch.
Hahaha...this just made me spit out my ginger ale!!

I passed out last night at like 8! Oops. Feel better today. We got our flu shots this morning and now MH is in the store picking up some other random things we couldn't find at target and then our food shopping is done for the week! I am currently listening to Clara sing twinkle twinkle little star and trying to decide on some lunch!
Went to DD's soccer game. Now home laying on the couch. My mom is coming for the weekend to watch DD/help around the house. My H and I are going to BRU to buy car seats/trade in old ones to get the discount.
I only have a second to check in so i havent read through but i have to share my excitement that i am going ALONE to get my hair done in 40mins!!! If only i could top it off with a boozy drink this would be perfect. Close enough!

We just work it on out...
I replaced the windshield wipers on the car and finally weeded the mulch beds out back. I got some weed fabric so I can deal with the beds up by the front door. But that's either and afternoon or a tomorrow project.
We have a fancy cocktail party tonight. I doubt I'll make it past 10pm.

I knew immediately that those were lyrics to Ignition.
callmeKD I hope you're feeling better today. I missed everything yesterday!
My mom just left from helping me with ds last night and today. We went to kohls and target. I scored big at target. 3 pants and 2 shirts for ds for $26. Mostly carters too!
We are headed to visit Dh at the fire station later to deliver his medicine. It's a 35 minute drive, but we could eat chik fil a for dinner so there's that. I also want Steak 'n Shake for a caramel apple shake so I have quite a decision to make.
We're headed downtown to get our cake for our little gender reveal later. Everyone is pretty convinced it's a girl, so they will all be right.
My in laws were in town and my MIL was looking at my stomach trying to determine whether it was a girl or boy and this is what she said no less than 3 times:
"It's hard to tell bc GLB gained weight before she got pregnant."
My H finally said something, and she was like "oh! Well, it's bc of the medicine she was on, not bc she eats a lot, so I didn't think she'd care." What?!

Oh I found out yesterday that my neighbor applied for the hs softball coaching position and wants me to be his assistant coach. Dh told me I should still do it even though softball officially starts about 2 weeks before my due date and would end at the end of May. He has lost his marbles. I hope he wants me to help next year because I would love to coach!

I got a bunch of clothes I ordered in the mail today, plus I picked up a dress I'm borrowing from a friend. Online shopping haul was, I think, mostly successful. One top is kind of tent like so it might go back for another size.
I have to laugh at the dress I borrowed, though. I have a black lace maternity dress I got on Prime Day but it's still a bit big in the stomach/back. Friend offered her black maternity dress for my party tonight, and I was all excited to try it on when I got home and as I'm putting it on I realize it's the exact same dress, just in a smaller size. She had lent it to me saying I could keep it until after the baby comes but I don't think I need two of the same black lace dresses, lol.
Does anyone else's H load the dishwasher with an almost completely full load and not run it? Just mine?
Mine loads it "full" and then I rearrange it and suddenly it's half-full. I'm the Tetris master.
But we only run it at night so it might sit there full all day. If that's not your normal, though, I'd be irritated.
We don't have a normal. He did them before he left for work yesterday and it was mostly full. He never said "hey I loaded it but didn't run it" so it's been sitting there building up stink for 24 hours.
We did the trade in event at BRU. ( we grabbed a couple of free car seats from a neighborhood swap page) and then with the trade in we saved 25% on each seat.

DH says I load the dishwasher wrong so he's in charge of the final arrangement. But we disagree about the proper place for dishes if the dishwasher is running but we dirty a dish. He thinks counter works, I think that's gross.
My H is totally OCD- and he does the laundry, the dishes and almost all of the cleaning bc I don't do it right. And he does it immediately- like, I went to the bathroom earlier and came out to my cup in the dishwasher. 🙄

Dh's other dishwashing flaw - he gets "tired" and won't load ANY silverware. We only have like 8 of each type of utensil, so they get used up pretty quickly.
He had to eat dinner with a baby fork the other day. I didn't feel bad.
