People are funny though, they will say "what a cute boy" and I will say politely that she's a girl and sometimes I'll get that she's in boys clothes. She's wearing jeans and a grey t-shirt. How is that boy clothing??
I feel the same way!
I recently bought DD long johns, and was told they are for boys. How so? It's grey with trees and bears, seems pretty neutral to me.
I am also the mom that refuses to put DD in anything that says "princess" or "diva".
I'll have to post a picture of this one outfit I got. First of all they are never worn and have tags and I got them for 25 cents each at a garage sale. But they're just plain denim overalls and then there's a neon pink, hunter green and white onesie underneath. It doesn't scream boy or girl to me. But EVERYONE feels it's necessary to tell me it's a boy outfit. Too bad. I like it. I'm putting it on my GIRLS. I figure I'll just compensate with headbands with all the boyish stuff I've picked up.
