ThankfulSnail maybe some fun thanksgiving decoration crafts? DD brought home a really cute turkey from daycare the other and then yesterday they painted with leaves they had collected.
Pretty much every time, my chiro just shoves my hips back into alignment. Helps everything so much. The only problem is that loose pregnancy ligaments means they get out of whack again pretty quickly.
Figures. I go back next week to see if it stayed in place. I'm hoping to see him once a month around if it'll stay in place that long. Luckily, my insurance covers it but the copays start to add up after a while.
Well if it helps, I am still on a monthly schedule. But yeah, my chiro thinks probably starting in Feb, maybe end of Jan, I'll have to switch to every other week.
I pay out of pocket and it does get cheaper the more often you go but I'm not sure how that would work with copays.
OB finally called me back about my heart acting all crazy.
Back story: I have a very insignificant heart murmur that's been worked up a bijillion times and it causes "occasional" flutters/palpitations.
Lately it's a multiple times a day thing and I'm also having irregular beats and weird rhythms.
Sooo I gotta go get some labs done (thyroid and cell count) and get to wear a cardiac monitor for a couple days. So that's fun.
Ooo. I've done the cardiac monitor before, fair warning, I found it so, so itchy. Make sure you have lots of loose, comfy clothes to wear over those days.
Had another midwife appointment this morning. Baby is super active with heart staying around 150, measuring just a little bit ahead.
So far everything is going just a little better this pregnancy. Platelets low but above 100. Blood pressure has been great. No extra OB visits. I kind of feel like everything is waiting to hit the fan but it's been so much better than the last time around.

My heart went all crazy at the beginning of this pregnancy and I had to go to the hospital once or twice to get monitored. It ended up being nothing and my Dr said heart palpitations are common in pregnancy. I hope everything is ok for you as well!! Sorry about the monitor...
sympkin I had low platelets with DS at the end of my pregnancy. It was just more blood draws to monitor. They were still above the threshold for anesthesia when I delivered so hopefully that it'll be similar for you (whether you plan on meds or not).

I may or may not have just ordered last minute ingredients on AmazonNOW because I didn't want to fight the craziness that I'm sure is the grocery store.

I overheard my in laws discussing which one was going to the grocery store today. That's going to be hell.
I woke up @ 5:30 am, hungry. My late night snack did not hold me over as well as I thought. Oh well, that just means the baby is growing, right? Had a Dr appt yesterday. I am at increased risk for cervical cancer, but he said everything looks good now. Heard the heartbeat, 140! Next US is December 1st.

H has to go to get sour cream. I laughed at him.
We went last night to pick up pie ingredients. I was so overwhelmed by the crowd, the fact that I seem to be invisible to be people and the old ladies that stand in the middle of the aisle completely oblivious to the world around them that I ended up forgetting 3 ingredients. I think I'll send DH this time.

Good morning ladies. Today starts my mad insaneness of trying to clean my house for thanksgiving tomorrow. Just waiting on my Amazon delivery to come so I can make the turkey brine. I'm soooo afraid I'm going to screw this up.

DD didn't nap at daycare yesterday so we put her to bed a half hour early last night. I guess she was really tired, because she slept until 9 am this morning! I woke up when DH got up for work at 6:45, boo. We had an appointment to get her flu shot at 10 and of course we were late. We're just playing around the house now.
I have 3 pies to make today so I'm praying she naps. I really don't want to try to do all that while having her "help" me...
