Sick of the weather here as well. We need to see how much fresh snow we got before I figure my day out. I also need to get C. He so kindly serenaded DH and I during our morning lovin'. LOL
It's 12 degrees here but so windy I can't tell if it's snowing or the snow outside is just blowing. It will feel warm at DS's hockey practice this morning.
I woke up to news that a friend brought her baby home after 32 days in the NICU. I'm tearing up!
We will be spending the day painting. There is an end in sight! I can't wait to finish furniture shopping and decorating.
This is why I propose that the N13 compound be in Florida
DH is working today. I think I'm going to hit the gym, meal plan, grocery store, and then chill out with some wine. I was going to start the Whole30 today but I had to clean up the kitchen after last night and I didn't feel like re-dirtying it immediately after.
I also booked a weekend trip to St. Augustine. Has anyone been?
ETA: Whole30 is back on. I'd rather just say that I messed up this morning and keep going than have to wait a whole day.
I'm at work. I don't know what -any number of degrees feels like, and I'm quite certain that I don't ever want to. I have no idea how you survive that and actually function. Hats off to you ladies. It was 20 here this morning and I thought I was going to freeze walking in to the hospital. We had the best time Friday night and yesterday. DH arranged for us to go to a painting class together yesterday afternoon. It was one of those places where the instructor walks the group through painting a picture while you drink wine. It was awesome! Our paintings look kind of sad, but it was really fun! Then last night we took M out for sushi and surprisingly, she loved the tuna! Crazy!

All those negative temperatures make me wanna barf.
Not much planned here. Grocery store, laundry, cleaning. The usual Sunday stuff. Going to a friends house tonight for a family friendly Mardi Gras party. Yay for not having to cook dinner!!!
Eta: the dump finally deleted me!!! I'm assuming. I can't log in.
We ended up taking E to the ER Friday night be aide he couldn't stop puking. They gave him zofran, which was a life saver. Poor little guy is on he mend but refuses to eat...liquid diet it is. We got very little sleep Friday so did a lot of napping Saturday.
It's blizzarding here again today. The 6ft fence is my backyard is almost buried. E is napping, and so is DH because he has the dreaded man cold. I should work, but I have no motivation.
I was going to bitch about the cold weather too, but some of you have it way worse than me! Still, we can't go out and play so today is going to suck. Operation Keep LO Moving is a bust. He's currently refusing his AM nap despite a lot of eye rubbing and other nap cues. Poor guy.

ljgs1010 awe poor little guy hope he starts eating soon.
Don't worry Kama I won't post a screenshot of this heatwave.
I woke up way too early and can't go back down. I need to learn how to relax I'm tense all the time. We're going to seaport village today for all the food and ice cream. It's going to be a good day.
ljgs1010 and wedding I hope your boys start feeling better soon!
@mx2 yeah for no pain meds!! But boo to your friend. I'm sorry DH's feelings are hurt. I would just encourage him to talk to his friend so it doesn't fester.
We are having a lazy day today. Gotta do some laundry though.
I'm going to make homemade cinnamon rolls to go with the chili that is in the crock pot. Tim doesn't understand chili and cinnamon rolls..... This can't just be a Kansas thing, is it??

The only time I have ever heard of it was from Midwest posters on TB.
The warm weather memory thread has seriously wishing we had planned vacation for earlier in the year. I'm not sure I can wait until May.
Really boring day here. V went down for a nap so MH & I are catching up on Scandal and might take a nap ourselves. I was going to attempt Costco and Target today but it's way too cold.

We had chili and cinnamon rolls at school growing up all the time in SD.
finnaroo nice work DH for moving you to Orlando, you get to meet all the bumpies!
Last night we went to a friends house, had steak for dinner, played sequence and drank wine. I kicked some butt at sequence. Today I don't plan on leaving my house.

I classify cinnamon rolls as a breakfast item and chili as not one. Can't get my head around them together. Corn bread and chili though, yes please.
Hope everyone is staying warm and feelino better. We are hunkering down but it's 18 degrees, so that's balmy in comparison to some places!
I am basking in the glow of my amazing dinner last night. DH was supremely impressed with my surf and turf..which was just me following a recipe frim Iowa Girl Eats blog verbatim. And 22 Jump Street was pretty funny too and it's at red box.
