No baby here. I shouldn't be surprised, but the further we get into February, the more likely baby will be sharing a birthday with either an aunt, uncle, one of two cousins, annoying coworker, our dog, or H's cousin. I was hoping she'd have her "own" day. We'll see. No contractions last night. Come on, girl! We're ready to meet you!

Haha sweetieheart32, we will have the same thing going on with our baby girl sharing a birthday with someone. She's due the 24th; my grandma's birthday is the 20th, my sister and uncle are the 25th, and we have other random cousins in there scattered all around her due date. I'm kind of hoping she shares a birthday with my grandma, though, because I love her and want to be just like her when I grow up

I slept like poop last night, but not because of DS. I overate at dinner, and woke up with heartburn and indigestion, and then was too hot for the rest of the night. Boo. At least I don't have to really do anything today. I'm letting DS sleep in because he's sick... which always makes me nervous. Hopefully he still naps later. This decision often comes back to bite me.
I want to scream at everyone at work. I haven't even been here for an hour. I've gotten no less than 10 comments already about "wow you are huge", "you're about to pop!", "when is your due date again??", "are you sure there aren't twins?", "they miscalculated your due date!"
No sorry, I am just really huge. Dear god!!! Everyone shut up!!! How do they think that feels, to be relentlessly told that you are so giant? Omg I might have up to 3 more weeks of these nonsense comments !! My due date is the LAST DAY of the month!
Like, I'm 37 weeks tomorrow. I am supposed to be big. Can people stop being shocked by that? I'm very irritated about this nonsense and by the fact that it's happening when I am very barely at term.

sweetieheart32 - I hear you on the birthday front. This baby has already avoided two birthdays, and we have two more to avoid before the 10th. If he makes it to Friday, he'll share a birthday with one of my cousins, which is fine - we live halfway across the country from one another so it's not like he'll be sharing cake with anyone LOL
FFMC: I'm SOOOOO glad he's not coming on his EDD (2/17). MH's crazy aunt and his horrid cousin are both born on the 17th and I'd be pretty miffed if my son shared that day, too.
I came to work. I am no happy about it. Tomorrow is my birthday and I'm trying to schedule as much as possible so I can be here as little as possible. I have an OB appointment in the morning... I'm desperately trying to schedule a wax/mani/pedi for tomorrow afternoon. #doingtheleast

cosmicav, that's crazy you're getting those comments! People can be so rude.
I didn't do as much over the weekend as I hoped, but I finished the few things that make me feel ready for the big day. The nursery is done except for the last piece of wall art (arriving today), baby's things are put away, my hospital bag is packed, and we brought up the bassinet and moved around our bedroom furniture to fit it.
Now that these things are done, the impatient waiting begins! Baby, you can come at any time now...
oldbaylover1024, happy early birthday! I too hope to get some grooming in this week. My brows are a mess and I want pretty toes. I could also use a haircut. Mine only looks OK if I use products and blow it out, and I probably won't be prioritizing that once the baby's here. Mom cut, here we come
I spent most of my weekend on the couch. It was a pain in the neck not to really do anything, BUT the swelling went down in my feet so I feel like I can actually walk around today. The trick is going to be keeping it down at work. I put a box under my desk to keep my feet somewhat up so we'll see if that helps.
I've been having what I think are contractions all morning. They keep sort of coming and going, but they aren't really going away like the other ones have. I told H and he wanted to know if it was real labor or fake labor. My response? "It's real if they don't go away. Keep your phone charged today please!" He thinks he's going out to dinner this week with his dad an hour and a half away. Haha, that's cute H! If nothing else, I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so we'll see what she says.

I'm just sitting at the hospital for all the same monitoring they've done 4 times since last Monday. My BP is looking pretty good after bed rest this weekend. I'm assuming I'll be sent home with more bedrest instructions. But we'll see.
notagoddess , I finally remembered to look at my other favorite nursing tank. It's bravado brand.
I have a Bravado nursing bra and I really like it. I'm sure the tank would be great. I was holding off on buying it because they are $55 and I wanted more than one.
I went to Target and DM to try on nursing tanks and I found one that I really liked. It's by Pea in the Pod, this one.
I bought it and washed it before packing it into my hospital bag. But I stupidly threw in the slipcover for My Brest Friend, which has velcro on it, into the load of laundry. The velcro stuck all over the tank and completely destroyed the fabric.

Oh no! I did that to one of my nursing tanks, too. Little fuzzies all over it. Boo.
ETA: and yes, I only have one bravado tank. Lol. I pretty much always wear a shirt over my nursing tanks anyways, so the ruined one still gets worn.

That is a stinking tragedy. I do that often with my daughters Velcro bibs 😑 sorry for your tank tops injuries!

The week is starting good since we have all of our dishes and laundry done. I stain-treated the RnP cover last night. We still have a few necessary tasks left like attaching changing table topper and hanging nursery wall items. But basically I feel pretty prepared.
Only TWO more training sessions, I'm praying. I'm nervous that my trainee will be like oh I can come in on Wednesday and Thursday too so I reallllly feel comfortable. Umm no..we're done I swear! I refuse to go in labor at work again with somebody staring at me asking accounting questions. 38+2 days is close enough for me.
oldbaylover1024 thanks for the pad pic, I have sensitive skin too so I'm glad to have a recommendation since I haven't purchased yet!

I managed to cut a hole in the boob area too while trying to get rid of the little threads. It definitely felt like a tragedy! It was so pretty for the 1 hour I had it, LOL. I will wear it as an undershirt still.
But lesson learned. Velcro goes in a separate wash.
cosmicav sorry for all those comments. People can be so ridiculous.
Still here. Still with irregular contractions. :/ I'll probably go to a movie today to distract me. I'm tired of everyone asking if I'm still pregnant. *sigh* OB appt tomorrow if nothing happens before then.
cosmicav People suck sometimes. It makes you want to hug and kiss the ones with actual compliments.
oldbaylover1024 Ded at #doingtheleast. I'm going to make that my motto until the baby comes. Happy early birthday. Go get that mani/pedi!!
staz FX the contractions are productive if not the real deal!!
I had contractions on and off yesterday and last night but they dwindled down to just some on and off crampiness this morning. Needless to say I'm tired though.
For those that have had their MP come out gradually and not all at once & w/o bloody show - was it just like extreme extra discharge similar to EWCM during ovulation but more or was it like totally different and you would definitely know. Last time mine came all at once and there was no denying what it was. I'm not sure if I am losing part of it this morning or its just pregnancy fun.
Both babies are transverse again, heads to my left. That means top baby flipped 180 again and bottom baby went from breech to transverse. How the hell are they still flipping around and how do I get bottom baby head down?

Sorry babies aren't cooperating.
I don't see how two babies can still be flipping in there! I have just one and she's pretty much stuck.

Thank you guys for your commiseration. I told my H that everyone was bugging me, and he's like, "they mean well," and I'm like um iDGAF if they mean well, they are being rude. I think that because I am kinda short (5'0), it makes me look huger but that is still no excuse for the relentless "dang look at you"
