I'm trying to figure out how to order my day. Last night I had contractions 10 minutes apart for 2 hours. Apparently H thinks I had them in my sleep at times, because he said my breathing changed every once in a while - which kept him from sleeping very well... hahaha. I've had a few this morning, too. But this is the same old story from the last several days, so I'm hesitant to get too excited.
Still, I'm thinking I should do the most important things first, just in case this is for real.
I'm totally going to end up having a car baby because I'll be in denial when I really do go into labor 😕
The boys are going to some train thing, so the girls are going to Joann's to look at fabric. Hopefully we will meet for lunch at Red Robin which just happens to be in the same parking lot as HomeGoods.

My mom left this morning but DH only has to work a few hours today (thank goodness). We have friends visiting this afternoon, and he's going to buy a bunch of stuff to grill. I think it's going to hit almost 50 today so I am going to put the bundle-mes in the double stroller and take the girls on our first walk.

I'm trying not to be a Debbie downer today. I figure too much more from me and you guys may kick me out.
MH is forcing me to stay home today and rest. I'm definitely not taking care of my body like i should. It's like I'm totally ignoring the fact that I had major abdominal surgery a week ago, which is crazy. I'm not sure how I've been able to go back and forth in the car two to three times a day, help with J, and sit up and pump a dozen times a day and MOTN. And it's hard keeping track of when to take pain meds when we're on the run all the time.
Guess I'm going to try and make the best of being home and pump, watch some tv, and rest. Maybe eat some junk food to ease my mom guilt.
J's headed to SIL's house for the night. She's pumped to have all these sleepovers LOL Ignorance is bliss!
ETA: Maybe sharing a pic will make me feel better. Here's C. Warning - he has an IV in his head and a nasal cannula. I'll spoiler just in case you want to skip it. He was so milk drunk in this pic. Sorry if it's huge - I'm mobile.

oldbaylover1024 he is beautiful! I hope you can rest today, as hard as it may be for you to stay home. C is in the best hands, so today take care of you.
oldbaylover1024 he is such a sweet little one! I'm so very sorry you have to be apart, that is so hard. I hope you get a chance to rest and watch some senseless TV to take your mind off of everything. Eat some ice cream while you are at it I hope that the rest of LO's stay goes by quickly.

oldbaylover1024, he's precious - I can't imagine what you must be feeling. Please don't feel like you have to reign in your emotions. Sometimes it helps to let it all out. I hope you can rest today so that when he comes home you can enjoy starting your more normal life as a family of 4. Big hugs to you!

I think the same thing--my kid is going to be born in the car because I won't be sure when labor is legit or not. I really just hope my water breaks so i will know it's go time for sure, lol.

Mine are gone again, but I still feel crampy I know I'm a broken record, but this pregnancy is so different than my first that I feel like a FTM all over again sometimes!
Maybe some time in the fresh air today will get things moving again

I feel the same--this pregnancy is so different from my first, like in every single way. I made a chart on my computer LOL. My first pregnancy was smooth and simple and the only thing that was off was that LO showed up early. This one....dear lord.... the lengthy morning sickness, my pelvis is dying, the everywhere stretch marks, baby chillin in my lungs...... I have googled WAY more than I ever did when I was actually a FTM! I am right there with you lol.
I hope things get moving again for you soon! this end part is not fun.

oldbaylover1024, my heart goes out to you with LO in the NICU. You are doing everything you can to help him come home... and today that means that you stay at home and take care of you.

Spring is teasing here and we just spent an hour at the park with DS1. This is our last weekend with H as a family of 3. He's supposed to work next weekend, so he will either be at work, or home with me and the newborn. It's pretty unrealistic to think I'll still be pregnant in two weeks.
I'm still really crampy, lots of vaginal pressure, seeing some mucous, I think? No spotting yet, though, and I spotted for two days before DS1. I'm glad I didn't go into labor yesterday all things considered. We are supposed to have friends over for dinner tonight and I'm excited to hang out with them... but I also want to be in labor!
oldbaylover1024 I'm sorry you are home today but I'm glad that you're resting. Hopefully LO will be out of the NICU soon and you won't have to worry anymore. Hugs 🤗 ❤
ETA: He is so adorable! I'm sure he's in great hands!

oldbaylover1024, what a beautiful boy! I can't imagine all those feelings. I hope you're able to rest some today.
We just went on a walk it's cloudy and gross but after being cooped up inside yesterday we needed some air. My younger SIL is coming today, thankfully she left her 3 & 4 year olds at home. I love them but they are a lot of work and perpetually sick. Ain't nobody got time for that. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo with my sister and her family. It's supposed to be 75° and sunny. DS1 needs an activity away from the house.

musicallyinclined 75 and sunny sounds like a dream, enjoy! staz hope things get moving for you, what a mind game! oldbaylover1024 he is so beautiful! Get some rest today mama, you need it! Mom guilt is pretty big over here. On the first day I started to feel better, DS woke up last night miserably crying and throwing up. I spent the night in his room and he finally did get some sleep. This mama didn't. He's got a fever today and is run down. I just woke up from a nap. The babe in the oven can take all the time it needs at this point, our family is not ready!

Contractions are inconsistent but here. Which is more than yesterday. I'm feeling a bit off so I'm headed to the pharmacy once H gets back from walking the dog to check. If it's not a great number I may be headed in because it's a Saturday and the office is closed. It could just be me being tired and stressed out but I want to be safe.

oldbaylover1024 do you want my mesh panties? I didn't use any of them.
My in laws have showed up unannounced today for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. I told DH he was going to need to say something to them because I got maybe 3 hours of sleep last night and didn't want any company today. My cousin is coming tomorrow and my sister and her family are coming Monday so it's going to be a busy rest of the weekend.
