Nothing scheduled yet. My repeat beta is Monday, and then I'll probably have at least one more blood draw after that before they'll schedule an ultrasound. If my betas keep rising appropriately, my guess is that the u/s will be the week of March 13th since I'll be 6+ weeks at that point and we'll hopefully be able to see a heartbeat.
In the UK we don't have our first scans until 12 weeks, I have 8 and a half weeks to wait lol! Hoping it'll go fast. And then I'll have a gender scan at 16 weeks, 20 week scan and then I'll most probably have growth scans as DS was a big baby and have a difficult birth due to it so I'll be monitored because of that
I think it's pretty common in the US for people to not have ultrasounds until 10-12 weeks, too, but when you've gone through fertility treatment and/or have had miscarriages, early ultrasounds are part of the process.

My wife is military and they like to check at the 7-8 week mark plus we did fertility treatments. Very excited to hear the heartbeat and see the little reptile.

You probably won't hear the heartbeat at that point (I never have), but it's so cool to see it flicker on the screen!
I'm in Canada and we don't do anything until the NT scan (unless there is history of loss or medical concern), so it'll be a while for me. Haven't even planned to go to the doctor yet... they don't really want to see us here until end of first tri.
I'm Canadian too! I believe the RE said I'd have an early ultrasound with him, possibly around 6 weeks? Hopefully before I go out of town in Mid-March.

Hello, fellow Canuck! Whereabouts are you? (Obviously you don't have to share if you don't want to.) I'm in the national capital region currently being drenched in rain. In February.
Congrats and hope the first scan goes well!
I'm in Victoria, where it 'always rains', but not today, yet.
I'll be calling my OB today, but I don't think she does the first appointment until 8 or 9 weeks. ETA by ultrasound is scheduled for the 28th, I'll be 8 weeks 5 days.

Dirty lurking here, but I just wanted to say we saw and heard our HB at 6w2d. It was trickier to get a lock on it that early (for audio) and when I went back in at 7w2d it was super easy to hear!
IUI 1-3 BFN IVF #1 - Oct '15 - 10R, 3M, 0F IVF #2 - August 16 - 12R, 11M, 5F. 1 to transfer and 2 to freeze - BFP!! - MMC caught at 7w5d FET #1 - 1/26 - BFP, due 10/14
I scheduled mine yesterday for 3/23. I'll just be shy of 8 weeks. Feels weird going this soon...I was close to 12 weeks with my DD
Oh gosh, that feels so soon! I guess I should call. I have a different OB and hospital this time around but I got a good rec from a friend for the OB. I think I may wait until my period is due on Friday before I call. It's still so early!
I felt a little ridiculous when I called yesterday and gave the date of my last period and she said "okay, so you're 3 weeks 3 days today". But I had to ask a question about medication so I didn't want to wait.
I turned a digital this morning and called my doctor. My first appointment is March 23rd. I'm not sure if they will do an u/s or not. They did with my last pregnancy. I hope they do because I'm a little nervous due to my advanced age and history.

They did do a vag US on my first appt last time, so I expect it, but mine will be a different doc so who knows! I would think it is standard to try to find the heartbeat vaginally at 8 or so weeks. I hope so because I wanna hear it!
I've been pregnant twice and the first time, they didn't do anything but the second time they did because of a history of loss. It probably depends on the doctor and the history and the office and the availability of the u/s.
I just scheduled my first appointment for 2 weeks from today. I'll be 6 weeks. I'm pretty sure I had an US for my first apt with DS at the same office, so I think I should have one this time around, too.
My MW's office does the first prenatal appt between 8-10 wks so I'm not scheduled until 4/12, which seems so far away. They do an US at that appt though.
Mine is the 16th too! No ob appt until I'm released from my RE though.
When do you think you'll get the ok to follow with the ob?
I'm not sure. With previous pregnancies after IUI, I was released to my ob after the first u/s around 7 weeks, but this time we did IVF and I'll be on progesterone injections until 10-11 weeks or so. I don't know if they'll release me before I'm done with those meds. I'm actually hoping they keep me through most of the first tri because the level of care is SO much better at my RE than my ob's office.

I'm sure the RE does a much better job monitoring things. Hoping they keep you as long as they can.

Last time I didn't have an ultrasound till 20 weeks so I expect the same this time, as long as mw can get the heartbeat on the Doppler I am okay with waiting.
I am pretty sure we will have 6, 8, and 10 week ultrasounds with our RE, beginning the week of March 27th. We'll have an ultrasound at the obgyn's office as soon as we are released to them at 10 weeks. Lots of peeks early on.
