notagoddess I think that's the old standard of care...we do submersion baths at our hospital as long as baby has no healing circumcision...but I guess each pediatrician has their preference. R has gotten about 4 submersion baths since birth and never a sponge bath...and her cord is perfectly healed. (She's 17 days old).
We were also told no submersion until the cord came off.

musicallyinclinedallisong87 thank you ladies. I guess I won't get too concerned about the persistent pain unless it's still there Monday. Everyone kept telling me I should feel better within 24 hours of taking them, and I just assumed that meant the pain too.

Ah, I just found out my friend who has been doing fertility treatments is pregnant!! This was the last month before her husband was deployed for a while, and I'm so excited for them!!
callmeKD That's the one we picked out! Glad to know it's durable and you love it!!
It's super cool. DD1 loves it. It takes 2 people to put it together - it took my H and my dad about 12 hours. Plus they needed another set of hands for the spiral slide.

Awww! notagoddess she's so precious and tiny! Meanwhile, my beastly 9 day old is wearing 3 month old jammies and totally filling them. Even my other giant babies were wearing this outfit much older. At this point 0-3 month is even a questionable fit.

What apps are you all using to track feeding? There's so many and I don't know where to start in choosing one. I don't mind paying a few bucks for a quality app. I'm not a fan of obtrusive ads or in-app purchases if that makes a difference.

I use BabyConnect. I love it. I used it with DD too. I'm a data nerd and it's super cool.

We used the Sprout app (iPhone) last time, and it worked well for us. I mostly used it to keep track of what side I was on, and then for sleep later when he got into a pattern. It is not free, though.
Hello, all. I've been pretty absent lately while dealing with adjustments here at home but finally feel like I'm getting the hang of parenting 3. Today is DH's birthday and I'm babywearing and baking and cleaning. It feels good to be productive again!
And thank goodness Sabine seems to finally be settling in to wearing the harness. Here she is, being so snuggly and cozy and about 1.5 weeks old.
