Work is slow today so I can play here a bit... fighting a cold from my lovely DH. Just a sore throat/blah feeling for now, hoping it doesn't get any worse since I can no longer take the good meds.

I caved and took another frer since it's been about 24 hours since I last took one. Still light, but darker. And pregnancy rhinitis hit me today, which makes me three for three on getting that immediately with a BFP. Hopefully this means progression.

I was thinking of stopping at the store and getting a neti pot. I've never used one before but heard it might help? I might just try some nose spray and work up to the saline spray.

Highly recommend a netipot, or anything similar... it really clears things out when it's super stuffy

Yay! But boo for rhinitis. I, too, have been afflicted. My ears have been congested all day and I am not getting the runny nose. Fun.

I had the entire nine months with DD. Not looking forward to nine more months of not breathing. But right now, I'll take it.

I'm with all of you ladies who are obsessively peeing on things. I got my initial BFP two weeks ago today, but I tested with a wondfo yesterday because I'm insane. Now that I know my betas are over 5000, I'm going to stop testing because even if things weren't going well, I'd still get super dark lines.

I am also peeing on all the things. It's only been 3 mornings since my BFP but I did 3 different types of tests on Saturday, 4 (! - i know, I'm cray) different types yesterday, and 2 different types today. I tried a digital yesterday and it said "not pregnant" - does anyone know if these are less sensitive?

Digitals are less sensitive. I've gotten positives on wondfos and frers with hcg as lo as 10, but I've read that digitals need more like 30+.

The clear blues are like 50+ I believe. Your best bet is to save a digital for about 4-5 days after your initial bfp. It's disheartening to have pink lines and a negative digi.

With my ectopic, I got a bfp on a digital, and my hcg was 36 the next day, so they can definitely pick up below 50, just not nearly as low as the others. I always wait a few days to try a digital.

Got a box of FR, POAS as soon as I got back home lol, the 2nd line came up so dark as soon as it was going across the stick! It's now darker than the control line, that's made the 5 days of not using the FR rewarding!

My auntie was visiting today (lives an hour away) so I took that opportunity to tell my Nan and her that we are having #2

My nan jumped straight in with the most ridiculous baby names, I've told her she's banned from suggesting them to me. They both thought we are being unfair by not telling people the names we have picked out.

Yes because with C's pregnancy my Mum slipped up at a family meal (she was really sorry) and basically told the whole of my family the name when I was around 34 weeks gone, and NOBODY liked it and my Nan would not stop going on how "that's a girls name, it's going to get bullied"... My Nan has no filter and doesn't realise how offensive she can be, really does bug me sometimes. She's just very set in her ways, and when you don't do something her way she will not stop going on about it. It drives my DH insane lol.

I've said once the baby is born we will give everyone a text, either a group message with all the details and a picture before we publicly announce it so they will find out asap. I'm just cutting the crap out this time, nobody liked C's name (Cody) and it really pissed me off come the end, as my DH also slipped it out with his family and my MIL just made an awkward face and mumbled that she wasn't sure on its.

If you didn't put half of the baby's DNA in me, I don't care about your opinion!!!

God. Sorry about the rant but what I wanted to be a really nice thing telling my aunt/Nan just turned into something else I didn't want it to be.

beefinch, Cody is an awesome name. I've actually never heard it as a girl's name so clearly your Nan was wrong!

We kept DD's name a secret pretty much because we weren't sure until we met her.

I took another digital with weeks this morning and was happy to see it read 2-3 weeks. It read 1-2 on Thursday (when I was 4 weeks) and I was nervous that my numbers weren't rising but they seem to be where they should be. I'll take another over the weekend and should see that 3+! Then I'm all out of tests (well except Wal-Mart cheapies)

I know 1 girl Cody, it's a friends of the families daughter. I know/heard of a lot more boy Cody's, but it got recommended to me by a work colleague, when I mentioned we didn't have a name yet.

We are 90% sure what this baby will be called if it's a girl, no idea with boy names though. I find them so much harder than girl names. Although we do have a middle name for a boy.

My kid threw a tantrum this morning because I made him take off his paw patrol pajamas to change into - GASP - a paw patrol t-shirt! The horror. He was fine after a few minutes once he realized his shirt had his beloved pups on it.

He has so many cute little boy clothes but he refuses to wear anything without a cartoon on it. Ugh
