I have my damn phone this morning! DD tantrummed the entire time we were at Fedex, because of course. The lady at least had sympathy for me because she has a 3 year old, but the old men in the store glared. FEEL FREE TO ENTERTAIN HER, JERKS.
But anyway at least I have a working phone. I am at work and feel like crap today. I am so congested.
Also even though we have both our boy and girl names picked out, I am just glancing at the baby names board and realizing that my taste is... different than a lot of peoples.
I stalked the name board the other day.. I realized that probably wasn't going to be a place of inspiration for me. Lol.
I also stalk that board but don't often care for the suggestions. It still interests me to see other people's name choices.
We have both our boy and girl name pretty locked in. H and I are very much on the same wave length with names.

@thatgolfbitch, now I'm curious about your names! I think we have one picked out for each sex, but who knows what we'll come up with in the next while.
beefinch, my nephew is Cody and I think it's a great name
cnf2013, impressive that you're locked in on names. How amazing that you can both agree!
I do! I love it. I haven't seen the most recent episode yet, though.
Omg so good! I read the book too and thought the book was kinda boring but the show is great!
I'm watching it! I have only seen the first episode (actually I didn't know anymore had come out...I need to look that up). I read the book and really liked it, but I guess my bar is kind of low since I haven't read much since having DD.
beefinch I have only ever heard of Cody as a boy name. I think it is cute for either though.
We have a name picked out and plan to use it for a boy or girl. I think it works for both. It is a little bit out of the norm though, so I'm nervous. Especially because DD name is very popular. Unusual names are not my style at all, but I love this one.
I like Cody for the record beefinch We have a boy name already picked out from our first pregnancy so we will stick with that if we have a boy.. I have some ideas for girls. H tends to like what I choose.
Does anyone want a free week of Hello Fresh? I have 4 boxes! 3 meals for 2 people. We have been doing it every other week for a couple years now and love it. It does require time to cook but the meals are good.
One of our top contenders for a girl is Emmeline, but she will be called Emme for short. I've loved that name since I was 14/15.
DH isn't over keen on Emmeline, but likes Emme. So not sure if we will go for Emme for the actual name, as I do love it but I've always had Emmeline in my head. Suppose we have 35ish weeks to sort it out if it's a girl!
Our DS is Dexter. We have liked that name for years before we had him and yes- we got the idea from the tv show. And no- we don't hope that he grows up to be a serial killer lol.
I like names that are sort of classic but just a bit different - like Calvin, which I would love if we had a second boy but DH doesn't like it. He likes floofy pretty names for girls - like Juliette- which is okay but not really my style.
Thank goodness I'm not the only one looking at names! DH and I don't have any firm contenders for either sex yet. I have a feeling it's going to take us awhile to agree on something.
beefinch, my friend and her DH are currently in a very heated debate over whether to spell their future Emmaline's NN Emmie or Emmy.
I don't like the look of Emmaline that much, I know it's only a letter difference but I pronounce it they way I write it, Emm.e.line, but everyone always goes Em.ma.line when I say to them (this was years ago with my BFF and Mum) about this name. So that's also what is making me think about just having the actual name Emme as it would bug me people always going Em.ma.line
I do love the name Emily, but it's just so commonly used and one of my childhood best friends is named that.
cnf2013 , we call DD Elle as a nickname too, but decided against Ellie because there were too many of them (based on my very scientific study of how many of them were at my school). She always refers to herself as Eleanor, though. It wasn't even the nickname, it's that they would choose to never call her by her name because they didn't like it. Also hormones.
Well that's super rude. Who cares if they don't like it? Not their kid.
MH and I talked about names tonight. We actually have one for each sex that we both like. If DD would have been a boy, the name would have been decided by a coin flip. So this is big.
Dilemma- there's only one oatmeal bar left in my desk. I'm hungry and want to eat it, but then I won't make it until lunch. So I should save it for third period, but hungry.
Good morning! I have off today so DS and I are going to the gym in a bit.
Then I'm watching my SILs kids for a couple of hours. She and I both have off on Wednesdays so we switch off watching the LOs and the other can go do whatever for a while. It's pretty great.

Time to load my desk full of munchies.
Ugh- that sucks. Maybe eat half now and half later?
That's how the nurse at our last pediatrician office said it. Drove H and I both crazy.
Hahahahha - I was just going to say - this is how the receptionist at our pediatrician's office says it and it drives me batty!!!! I definitely find that a lot of older New Englanders tend to say it that way and I don't know why!

I saved it until 3rd period, but now I'm still hungry. Booo.
