My change day is Sunday right now so looking forward for the 6 week on Sunday!
So 6 (ish) weeks left until my first scan, really interested to see if they will give me my due date of LMP or O date, as LMP was 29th Jan and I didn't O until 16th. With C they done LMP but I didn't know the exact date I O'd, just the week. 2 weeks can obviously make a difference with a baby.

My OB's rule was that if it measured within a week, they went by LMP. If it measured more than that, they went by first measurement.
In the U.K, we just go to our local hospital in the ultrasound department and have it done as our midwives don't do ultrasounds, so it'll be up to whoever scans me on when my due date is. I'm not to worried, just want a correct date that's all as they won't let me go over due this pregnancy.
If history repeats itself this baby will be measuring bigger anyway, C was always measuring 2-4 weeks ahead (but organs weren't so didn't change my EDD) because he was a big boy. At my 12 week scan he was measuring 13+2 (or 4 I can't remember rightly)
beefinch I have a fairly big difference between LMP and O as well. LMP Jan 22 and O on Feb 16th. So I am curious what the NP will say about my due date at my first appt. I'm not sure how they would date it at only 7-8 weeks.
My OB goes by LMP unless there's more then a seven day discrepancy. But that's just their standard protocol. They aren't into moving due dates since babies never come on them anyways.
Well C deffo has a cough. I put him to bed at 8pm and it's now 9:45, and he's already woken up whinging from his cough. I hate it when he has a cough as it wakes him up every time he coughs, I just want him to have a good night sleep to help get over it.
Long night ahead for myself and DH. And ever since he was around 10 months old, when he had a cough then, he would cough that much it would make himself vomit, DH gets so paranoid and will check him each time he coughs (at least twice an hour)
Just want to fast forward a week so his cough has gone 😭

Oh poor little guy - I hope he feels better quickly.
Sympathy tits. I've had very light spotting and a lot of cramping. More so than I remember with either of my other pregnancies. I've heard subsequent pregnancies can be harder on your body, so I'm going to stay positive and assume that's the cause for the time being.
DD started measuring big around 32 or 34 weeks, and that's when they discovered the polyhydramnios (extra amniotic fluid). Fortunately mine was minor.
Twins @thatgolfbitch. I had this too with DD...Have you had an appt. yet? I want to know if there is anything I can do to reduce the likelihood of it happening again. I had to be induced because of it and that was not a good time.

I'm with you on the light spotting. FX it's no big deal for both of us.
What's currently making me more nauseous; pregnancy or being in a high school cafeteria on a Saturday morning reading research papers while not getting paid?

Morning all!
My only symptoms are sore boobs and a bit of cramping every now and then although that has died down a lot over the past week. I think I read the other day that most people don't start feeling sick until 6 weeks because that's when the baby shares your blood stream? But I might be wrong.
I'll be away from 6 weeks and a few days til 7 weeks, so I really hope I am one of the lucky ones that avoids morning sickness!
Sorry you're sick pootsen, hope you have a nice restful weekend.
I've felt sick around 2 times today. I think the morning was my fault as I didn't have breakfast for about 3 hours after waking up. And then after I had a nap (thank you for napping DS) I woke up really weak and a bad hot flush. Was horrible. And then I felt sick and was burping loads which made me feel like I wanted to be sick even more. It seems to have calmed down after I've had dinner.
I woke up feeling sick for the first time today. I can't complain too much, because in a way I was wanting the reassurance. My aunt and cousin come from out of town for a visit tomorrow and then next Thursday I leave for a trip with friends to NYC. Hopefully I can rally.
I feel like such a lump on a log. I'm used to Saturday being my long run day, but I haven't run in over 3 weeks since before my FET. I miss it, but I'm just too nervous about this pregnancy to start running again. Now, especially because of the spotting I've been having, I'm spending most of my time not at work on the couch. I'm not used to feeling so lazy.

Add me to the feeling lousy club. I did work 2 overnights in a row so that likely has something to do with it though. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend. bethkate I'm sorry you're still spotting. Has the RE bumped up your U/S or ran anymore tests?

No. Last blood draw was Monday and everything (hcg, E2, progesterone) was good. My u/s is still next thurs. I called on Wednesday about the spotting and my RE said as long as it's not red and I'm not in pain to sit tight until my scheduled u/s. It started as super light brown tinted CM last weekend, picked up to heavier brown spotting wed-thurs, and now it's really light again and inconsistent. I'm hoping that means it's stopping.

Well it's good your RE gave you things to look out for. I'll be thinking of you on Thursday.
I figured she probably wasn't going to have my come in since I'm just 6 weeks today. If I had an u/s this past week, it could've left us with more questions than answers. At least by waiting until 6w5d, the u/s should be pretty definitive about where we currently stand with this pregnancy.

Oh that's true, I didn't think about how early it would have been. Ugh it's just a waiting game now :/ I'm sure it's really stressful.

Hang in there. Spotting is scary, but normal and brown is ok.
I'm also in the barely pregnant group so I am feeling mostly fine, just with sore boobs and I'm really f-ing tired.
I am taking a B complex vitamin this time around so I am hoping it helps ward off the 24/7 nausea that I've had with my previous pregnancies. I started it last month when we were TTC and the nurse at my OB office said to just keep taking it. Anyone else with experience taking B vitamins while pregnant?
