I bought 2 dozen doughnuts from my new favorite doughnut place this morning. I brought some to a playdate and there are about 15 in my kitchen right now. I've made the best/worst mistake.
I am at my first appointment and since it's my first one this go-around, they have to "confirm" the pregnancy. I am laughing. "So your pregnancy test was... very positive."
Yes. No shit. XD
this irritates me a little... my doc does it too. we did ivf and have already had a pregnancy confirmed by my RE and 2 ultrasounds, but by all means, waist this appointment by making me pee in a cup for YOU! lol

One of the reasons I couldn't sleep last night is because DH and I are watching season 1 of The Great British Bake Off and it was the bread episode and I couldn't stop thinking about chomping right into a huge loaf of warm bread. I had some toast at midnight, but it was underwhelming.

I was kind of waiting for them to tell me that this has all been a huge misunderstanding and I wasn't really pregnant at my fist appt. Medical validation was important to me.

I'm so irritated with work ... I've been putting together an all day training that was supposed to be for 16-18 people and NOW it sounds like we will have 8 people. The most obnoxious part is that I will have to repeat it for those who come later. Yayyyyyyyyyy.

lol @annperkins, that sounds like a good/bad dream!
@thatgolfbitch, I love ovia too! I am the same size as you for one more day, new week for me tomorrow. I leave it on weird/cute animals, but I obviously always check out the others as well. It's still a pygmy seahorse, looking forward to what tomorrow brings. grumpycat88, I forget if you're ahead of me or behind me? I'll try to not spoil the upcoming sizes for you guys, haha.

That sucks that you'll have to duplicate your training grumpycat88. It's like people know how much work it is, but they still don't really care that they're inconveniencing you!

Oh, and because I keep hitting post without getting all my thoughts out, I figure it's important to tell you all that I'm drinking a hazelnut hot chocolate and dang it is hitting the spot. One treat a day is okay, right?

I just had a white chocolate mocha. It was perfect. Hazelnut hot chocolate sounds soooo good. Did you make it or buy it? Cause I need it.
Tomorrow is 1 week until my first u/s! I am anxious and excited, my betas were good and doubled perfectly so everything should be fine but I will feel so much better after we see that everything is as it should be.
I started looking into OBs a little and think I found my top choice if she is taking patients.

One treat? That's all you're supposed to have..? Oh.
J and I met an NBA star today at the oncology clinic. He gave J a signed hat. :-D It made up for a crappy day. We had to reschedule everything to next week because of a cold.
Ugh. I'm sorry you had to reschedule. That's pretty cool that you got to meet an NBA player, though. Who was it?

fknhostile, it was from 7-11, haha! It's right next to my work. Which also complicates the one treat a day I mentioned cnf2013. Also, I think I have very loose rules on what I consider a treat.
Sorry you had to reschedule buttercup, but at least there was one bright spot in the day

Time Warner (or Spectrum, whatever the hell it's called now) is here trying to fix our WiFi. It's been shotty ever since the storm a couple weeks ago. So no WiFi or cable right now as they're fixing it. I'm so bored.
mil asked when the baby was due today. that threw me since we wont tell anyone til atleast 12 weeks. she said she figured since i was on new meds and got a new bigger car meant i was pregnant. i told her i definitely asked coworker when his wife was due and was trying to figure out how she knew about his wife.
So when my doctor's office called back to confirm they sent the req for a f/u ultrasound, the secretary told me the doctor asked if she had asked me if this pregnancy was planned, since she knew my daughter was 6 months old (her wellness visit is next week). I laughed and told her only crazy people would plan for this.

buttercup I'm not feeling anything. My boobs are a little sore and I'm a little more tired but I'm also still on progesterone and estrogen. I feel so normal I'm eating salads for.lunch and made salmon for dinner lol
buttercup I dont feel anything either really. Nausea comes and goes. My boobs have never been sore (but they also don't work, so there's that). I'm tired af, but I have a toddler and an infant so par for the course.

Our mostly outdoor cat was waiting to come inside as I was shutting lights off and stuff downstairs. He is wet and insisting on cuddles. Gross. One of the two indoor cats also HATES him so she's all pist off that he's cuddling me and she doesn't get to. Cats are ridiculous animals.
The mostly outdoor one adopted us when we moved into our house. We think someone moved and left him behind we found him a new home and he escaped then ran back to our house. I swear we aren't completely crazy cat people.
