Update:

So my lines are getting darker, and I turned a digi positive today! I am in complete disbelief that this is happening! I have so many mixed, bittersweet feels. I don't know what to do with myself or what else to say really. I'm just going to embrace every day I'm pregnant, and hope to bring home my baby in December.

I went in for betas this morning, and my OB wants me to get them every 2-3 days for awhile so I'm relieved knowing I don't have to fight with them. They are actually going to be proactive.

I just want to thank you ladies so much for your support during my time here. You are all so wonderful, and I hope so much that you get your rainbows soon. I can't express how much I appreciate you, and I've really enjoyed getting to know you. I will be stalking you all like crazy.

Wow, so much excitement going on here! 

As for me...my mom told me today that it took her mom 7 YEARS to conceive her. She is an only child. She said my mom-mom said it took her 7 years to get pregnant but now after knowing what I've been going through with early losses, she wonders if maybe my grandmother ever got pregnant and lost the pregnancies early. Just speculation, but definitely possible. And she was young when they started trying too, like in her late teens. She died many years ago, but I wonder if that is a link to my TTC. Just had to get that out somewhere.

esgrunner, I've had similar conversations with my mother, and it's sort of interesting to see how things like that might get passed down. My mother told me that it took her and my dad over 2 years to get pregnant with me because she had what the doctor told her was "irregular periods", but she said that, looking back, she thinks that she miscarried multiple times. When she finally got pregnant with me, she was 5 months before she found out because her period was so "irregular"

Yeah, it's amazing how much more the docs know now, right?! I'm interested to see what we find out at the RE.
