C was up and at 'em earlier than normal but passed out in my bed. She's got a little smile on her face and looks so sweet.
I'm taking B into the pedi this morning. As a younger toddler he was an occasional light snorer, but in the last few months it's definitely gotten louder and more persistent. There are a couple other things we've noticed, so I want to address it all with our doctor before we move in case anything needs to be done.
After that it's back to the house to meet the dryer vent guy, and then tonight I'm having a girls night out to see a movie.
Morning. I slept very fitfully last night, to no ones surprise. Nothing really going on today, except I will be meeting my oldest sister this afternoon to give her B.
Cadence has gone to the office both days this week. Monday it was for hiding in the classroom when the teacher was trying to get the kids lined up to go outside. It was a big deal, because if the teacher hadn't noticed one of the kids was missing then she could have gotten in trouble for leaving a kid behind in the classroom alone. Yesterday, she went to the office because she wouldn't settle down during naptime and was disturbing others. I've given her an extra book today (today is book day so they normally bring 1) to have only at nap time. I'm hoping she will sit quietly on her mat with the book until she can fall asleep. She has promised she will. Really don't want to make trips to the office a thing already. Since they don't really get "punished" she actually views the trips as a reward....doesn't help the situation.
Morning time. My car had the engine light and 4 other lights start flashing last night at pickup, so that car is in the shop. J about lost his mind when he found out MH took it without him, since he wanted to fix the car. He's been mostly sweet lately, he told me I was the best mommy ever last night and that he was my best friend.
It's a gorgeous day, so I'm glad I have to go out to lunch today and we had consultants in yesterday and they brought me 2 GF Georgetown cupcakes, so have one to look forward to this afternoon. I should probably do some work too, it's been an after thought for the past few weeks, just going through the motions.
trtlcrzy I hope they get individual therapy for mom and dad and family therapy for everyone. I hate to imagine explaining this to a child.
I'm not sure what they have lined up. It's all so fresh so I'm giving her some space. I haven't told my nephew but I don't think he'd understand anyway.
klongoria11 Layla was sent to the office on Monday for biting (first time in a long time.) She refused to talk about it with me at pick up, but did say that she "got" to go to the office, so I hear you on the reward thing!
I have some good news that I have to tell *somebody*...
I'm going to be an aunt! My sister is pregnant She just called me this am after taking a box of tests, lol. If everything goes ok, her due date would be around B's birthday in early December. So, so excited and happy for her and my BIL.

Yes, she raised her hands up the air and shouted "I GOT TO GO TO THE OFFICE" like I should have been amazed and congratulating her.
Morning! DH left early this morning until late tomorrow night. With the dance recital this weekend and H's party Saturday, plus his 1 year pictures tomorrow, I feel like I have a ton to get done! I'll be dropping the kids off with my parents tomorrow after pictures for a few hours before dance rehearsal so I can get to the store and start party prep.
Soccer went well last night. It took her a few minutes to stop clinging to me, but then she had a blast. But I realized before we went that she had no idea what soccer even was. She thought she needed her tennis shoes so she could run fast and catch and throw the ball.. Wrong sport, my dear. But she had fun and we went for ice cream after since she did so well... and because I wanted ice cream
mwhipple77, I hear you on being bored at work. I swear some weeks I do 5 hours of work. It sounds nice at first, but there are so many other things I could be doing if I could just leave the office rather than sit online. I'm pretty sure some days I spend more online shopping than I'm making being at work. lol
But I had a good chat with my boss before I left yesterday about my bonus plan and that the way he has it structured is confusing and hard to measure. He actually agreed with me and rewrote the plan and it may work out in my favor. Although, he didn't give me this plan until Monday and had increased Q1 even though Q1 ended last week and I didn't make my goal. It would've been nice to know my goal in January, don't ya think??

Sleep study maybe? V has also always snored to some extent, we had a sleep study done a few months ago.
Colin woke me up around midnight and again at 2 to go potty. He woke up dry AGAIN, which is awesome, but it took everything in me to shower him in praise and encourage him to wake me up again if he needed to. We just got Chase sleeping again, so I should have anticipated this, LOL!

wedding - I don't think you are on Facebook, but I found some babysitters through local a local facebook babysitting group. People post that they are looking for work and a bit about themselves and you can research them pretty easily. I found 3 that way (only one that I've used so far, but the other 2 sound super promising... 1 is in a local college for a teaching degree and works part time at a local day care, and the other is a mom of a college age kid.

I thought of that, but he has become a somewhat labored breather even when he's awake. We are starting with ruling out any allergies and then will head to the ENT. Pedi--who thankfully is very experienced in this area bc of his own kids--thinks it's adenoids. Just a question of whether allergens are causing them to be inflamed, or if they've just grown more quickly than other parts of his anatomy.
S didn't have much of an appetite last night or this morning which is usually an indication that he's sick, but he seemed fine otherwise. I am half waiting for a call from DC.
Also, B was up a bit last night coughing and this morning he was coughing a lot.
We are supposed to go visit my SIL (the one who had the babies at 29 weeks on Christmas) this weekend b/c BIL is in from out of the country with his 3 kids who we hardly get to see. I am so nervous that the kids are going to be sick and we have to cancel this trip!
LizInFL, congrats! Being an aunt is the best!!! And that's fabulous that the kids will be close in age
Thanks! I can't wait. And yes, I love that they'll be close in age.
Thanks for the congrats, everyone! I'm the only one who knows besides the parents-to-be (and now a bunch of ladies on the internet) so it's nice to be able to be excited with y'all
