If anyone was wondering, the dog has a pretty severe UTI. Already spent $320 yesterday so I can't wait to see how much the antibiotics are for 2 weeks worth. I should've listened when my mom told me dogs were expensive...
DH learned this right before our wedding when we paid roughly $3000 to save our dogs vision. She's still on daily meds. Cute but expensive.
Ok, people of fb can stop sharing that The Oatmeal post about learning and changing.
This hasn't made its way to the Midwest yet. Is it about oatmeal or is that who wrote it?
The Oatmeal is a comic that apparently a ton of my friends follow on Facebook. Here is the post. I'm just not seeing what's so earth shattering about this.
I went to petsmart to get some pads for her cat carrier for the flight and came out with a cat calming vest and a calming spray. I loling at myself for buying a cat vest but i'm willing to try

DD2 got hurt on our hike today and I didn't notice til much later. Her poor little head was bleeding and everything. MOTY
We went on a hike today too. On the way out the door, Dd was either trying to push it open or leaning on it when I opened it. She crumpled and fell right out the door. Scratched up her nose and just below it. I felt wholly responsible.
Brought the kids into work today. Then down to the food trucks. It was like 4 hours or so because then I was fighting with Clara about a nap for a while. Finally got to feed T. He was sleeping the whole time. Toddlers are hard.
Speaking of dogs, our dog may still be in the area. DH put her picture up on a lost pets FB page. Someone posted they saw a dog that looked like her near the mall this morning. The mall is close to my office so I guess I need to keep an eye out.
The weather was really nice out today. Sunny all day and a little warmer.
I wish it would be this way for Sunday for her party. I am praying it changes from the rain it is calling for.
I know! Today was sooo lovely. And then rain all over again. This weather has been so miserable. I hope it clears up for some sunshine and backyard fun for Peyton's party!

Oh man what a day. A 90 year old man drove into my car at the library while I was parked and putting DD and my neice in the car. I called 911 and the police officer said they would pull license until he re took some driving tests. I felt bad but he was so out of it when I spoke to him and didn't even immediately realize he had driven into my car. What if one of the kids were still standing next to me, especially after talking to him I really felt he probably shouldn't be driving so I reported.

Yikes! How scary! I know you feel bad but it sounds like there's no way he should be driving anymore. It's for his own safety as well as everyone else's.
Sorry that happened to you and so scary! jennyinheaven
I deal with this all the time at work. Here when you are 80 you have to take a written and vision test after sitting in a class for a few hours. You have to take a road test if you have had any accidents at all. It sounds like he wouldn't have passed the written test here if he was as unfocused as he was today.
It is for the best for everyone that he not drives now.

It thi mn Dd2 may have an ear infection. She was hysterical an hour after bedtime last night, and would only fall asleep sitting in my lap. My mom said she had a fever of 103 at lunch, and it's been slowly creeping back up since dinner.
I'll make her an appointment at one of the clinics here before we go home tomorrow. With several locations in town there is a much better chance of getting her in here as opposed to where we live.
jennyinheaven, so sorry that happened and glad everyone is ok. How's the damage? His family may be secretly happy you called since now it will make it out of their hands. We dealt with that with DHs grandpa who kept driving when they asked him to stop.
Susan0utLoud I am sure you can understand my dismay- for the last two weeks at least coffee has given me all day heartburn when I have never really had it before except a couple times during pregnancy.
As well as bad stomach aches and cramping almost. I love coffee so much! Why is it not loving me back??
So fwiw I only drink one large coffee a day. I don't consider that a lot for these issues.

Oh no! That's awful. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't drink coffee.

You have all my T's and P's.
Cold brew is supposed to be easier on the stomach. I notice it is on mine. Might be worth a try.

Not bad my bumper side panel just has a big scratch and slight indent. Honestly I might not have even called it in because the damage was so slight. I called after speaking with him more because I couldn't believe how out of it he seemed but was driving. It was very obvious that his age had affected his response time sms maybe his vision I was afraid to let him get back on the road.

Glad it was minor. I think you did the right thing by calling it in.
