Why do people make shirts that are hand wash and dry clean only. Ain't nobody got time for that. They were cute too.
I never follow the instructions on tags. Everything goes in the regular wash cycle. If something seems like it needs extra love, I'll hang it to dry.
I bet that the one that says dry clean would be just fine but I am a little nervous about the other because it has lace sleeves. Maybe on the delicate cycle

Our washing machine has a hand wash cycle so you could try that. I've always found that I can go "up" a cycle from what the tag says. If I'm unsure, I hang to dry. I find the dryer is where things get ruined not the washer.
Found some candles that looks like chocolates for DD's Chocolate Birthday. Also poster board to make a happy birthday sign like a Hershey's bar and a pin the Hershey kiss game.
I'm just done with today. DD1 has decided to act like we're just at the beginning of PT. She has peed her pants 5 times today. That's on top of the poop incident I posted about in 3 things. Ugh

I'll have to check but I have an old washer and dryer -- renting sucks

There should still be a shorter / gentler cycle on it. I have a super basic machine as well.
Took the dog to the vet. Nothing visibly wrong so we're waiting for results from urinalysis and blood work. In the waiting room they added one of those fake, battery operated candles with a little frame next to it. The frame said something along the lines of, "if this candle is lit that means someone is saying goodbye to their beloved pet. To show respect, please speak in quiet, considerate voices as they deal with this very difficult time." I almost started crying just reading it and now I keep tearing up every time I think about it. As much as Scout drives me nuts, I hate to think about something really being wrong with him. 😢

We had a code brown during bath time tonight. I put a little baby soap in the water while it was running so the bubbles hid it until I was about to start washing the girls.

This is how I feel about our dog too. Hope all is good with the pup.

I'm just seeing this so sorry for the late reply. My toddlers behavior led me to start a thread about books on discipline. So you can tell how my night went.

I commiserate. Toddlers, man.
Toddlers indeed. Bedtime could not come soon enough.
I'm sorry things are still rough between your two. I have no advice other than hang in there.
lulu, It's so so hurtful to be betrayed. Just try to keep talking to your DH and making sure he knows that you have also HIS best interest in mind and that involves your immediate family. This is such a tough situation. Unfortunately it will never go away ( I am sorry for being blunt ) but it can cease. My GF is in a similar boat as you, also involving drug use, money and in her case, her SIL. They are married 10 yrs now with 2 kids and it has been an off and on thing for as long as they've been married. It was only when the kids showed up is when she started putting her foot down and addressing all the issues. She has been good about reminding herself about her marriage vows and I also know her DH to be caring and kind and because of that he cannot just allow and see his sister destroy her life...BTW she has a husband with 2 children of her own too ( don't even get me started ). I think your DH cares greatly about his family and because of that he's buckling under their pressure. Like everyone says, we're here for you to vent and talk to anytime. Big big hugs... Also I don't understand why do you have to leave the kids at your MIL? I would never do that...only my parents and thats because they take care of him while I am working so DS is very comfortable and close with them but I would never leave him with my ILs...not that I don't trust them but they don't see him often and wouldnt know what he likes to do or what comforts him if he gets upset and throws an epic tantrum, etc. Sorry but that is just stupid to think that a mother would leave their child, just nope.
Same. I always legitimately plan what I'm going to do with all the money I win (don't worry, paying for an M14 meet up is on the list).
i should save this confession for friday but i had to stop playing for a while becuase i got so down when i didn't win every week.
If i win $30mil i'm taking us all on a caribbean adult only resort getaway
I rarely play. I used to play occasionally in FLA, but I've played maybe once or twice since moving almost four years ago. I used to try to plan what I'd do with my winnings and get so overwhelmed at who gets money and how much and the thought of everyone that would expect money that I was like, mo' money, mo' problems, better if I don't ever win. But it would be sooo nice to not have to worry about money and be able to share it with everyone I love or has been a source of help and support for me in my life.
If anyone was wondering, the dog has a pretty severe UTI. Already spent $320 yesterday so I can't wait to see how much the antibiotics are for 2 weeks worth. I should've listened when my mom told me dogs were expensive...
