I'm cool with weekly.
I now have a picture of my daughter's poop on my phone. I became concerned about the color this weekend and asked daycare to let me know if it looked normal or as I had described it appearing over the weekend. So instead of a note or chat at pick up like I expected, they uploaded a picture of her dirty diaper into their app. At least they're trying to get me the most accurate info.

Merry Monday all!
MH is OOT this week and I'm bracing myself.
DD did not want to fall asleep last night. She was up well into DS's bedtime, where their shared room totally bit me in the rear. It was hilarious though. I convinced DS to "show" DD how to lay down quietly and try to go to sleep. She proceeds to alternate between climbing over him, sitting on him, and "helping" him fall asleep by rubbing his back and patting/wacking him on the back. DS and I were dying laughing, which did not help.

I have gotten at least three pictures of skin rashes from DC, but no poop pics yet. But there have been some fairly descriptive comments on her report card about her poop, so I guess they haven't left me completely in the dark.
We went to the park this morning and then I spent nap time cleaning out the inside of my car. It is 80 degrees here so by the end I was pretty sweaty. I didn't get it vacuumed though because the shop vac is buried under crap in the garage so I will do that later. This evening we are going to my sister's house to celebrate my nephew's preschool graduation. They are doing ice cream sundaes at their house.
piperhalliwell what do you think is wrong with her poop?
swivelchair5 what do they expect you to do with rash pictures? Diagnose her yourself?
Hopefully nothing and I'm just being first time mom nervous. It started getting lighter in color Friday and has been very light (think coffee with too much creamer) in it since Saturday. Of course, I googled and read all about the white poop that indicates liver/bile issues. She also randomly puked all over her crib Saturday night and has been pickier about eating. She's been cranky as all get out since the beginning of last week. Basically I'm just taking all of the "symptoms" and letting my mind run free.
Hey guys! I haven't been on here or fb much. Yesterday my mom and I went OOT shopping. Didn't buy much though. Had a couple of returns and bought some flowers at Menards.
Today I had a couple meetings so I worked, again on my off day. 😒 I came home at about 1 and managed to do 3 loads of laundry, cleaned up our bedroom, put some other random junk away, and steamed the kitchen floor before picking up the kids.
DD randomly woke up at about 2am last night (well, this morning). I rocked with her for a bit and put her back in bed, awake, and she eventually fell back asleep. She was quiet so I don't know how long it took. Hoping to not repeat tonight though.

No medical advice, but X's poop has a pretty large range in color. I always just assume it changes based on diet, hydration, and teething.
I called about poop being too light before and they basically said "you'll know when it's the troubling white." The nurse described it as kind of gray "lack of color."
I thought they'd get less confusing as they get older, but they just provide a new set of things to worry about.

Thanks rivers and roads and trtlcrzy. I also noticed it smelled like ammonia last night, so as much as I'm trying to be calm, I'm like wtf is going on with my baby? Hoping she's back to normal soon. At least we have her 15 month check up next Tuesday, so I can unload my worries on the pedi.

A lady on my other BMB has a daughter who gets whiteish poop when she's sick periodically. It's turned out to be nbd. Hope the same is true here!

Thanks musicalsilver. I definitely get the impression that she's not feeling well, but I feel terrible because I don't know what to do about it. Basically all parties in my house are frustrated at our inability to communicate effectively right now, haha.

We finally got out of the house today! We did our usual Tuesday activity and went to the library. As I arrived, one of the caregivers I meet up with there was finishing a conversation with a woman. Apparently what she had to say was quite alarming and had seemed intent on leaving with a child. She was indicating which she was interested in and asking about their name, age, background etc. I didn't hear any of the conversation first-hand but it was concerning enough for my friends (who are long-time, experienced care-givers) that police were involved. I really hope the woman gets any help she may need and nothing comes of her intentions!
We stayed at the library longer then we typically would because I was an extra set of hands/eyes with the kids while others were completing police reports etc. DS has also taken to spending time awake in his bed early in the morning so he was 'my world is crashing down around me' tired by the time we were ready to go. The rest of the day might prove to be a challenge!
After I dropped H at preschool this morning S and I ran to menards. MIL gave me a plant on Sunday which I planted and then decided I wanted a second one to balance it out. So I got that and then 2 other flowers. I really need someone who knows what they are doing to tell me what to plant in front of my house.

I really need some gardening help too!! It's one area I'd really like to get better and more knowledgeable in. What kind of flowers/plants did you get? This weekend I got a couple of funky looking flowers. I'll look when I get home what they are called.

First I got English lavender to plant by our deck. It smells good and is supposed to help repel mosquitoes so that doesn't hurt. The one I got to match the one MIL gave me is a coreopsis. And my impulse buy that I put in a pot is called night sky petunias. They are so cool looking! Here's a pic
I found a pair of maternity capris in with my summer clothes so I decided to try and wear them today because my other pants are too tight and give me major muffin top. Well, it was a bad plan. They are falling down so I've had to keep pulling them up all day. I guess I need to put them in with my maternity stuff.
trtlcrzy those night sky petunias are amazing, it looks like they are sparkling!
I know! The internet tells me the color changes based on the weather. So if it's really cool at night they show more white or really hot during the day they show more purple. I'm excited for it to fill out and grow. I'm not normally a big petunia fan.
I should be in bed but I'm folding laundry and having wine. Had a kid free day today so was able to do spin class and lots of chores Also, they're paying us to do education modules on the computer at home now so I did some of that (while watching GoT...). All in all not a bad day. piperhalliwell how's L feeling?

thats crazy! I've never seen those before.
But I live in the land of scorched earth, so I'm pretty limited on flowers unless I want to spend a lot of time babying them.
H has started this new thing where she wants to manhandle S. She's dragging her along the floor by her feet, wrestling her, etc. So far S doesn't seem to mind it much but it's just a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

C is waaaaaay too rough with L. He tackles her and wrestles with her all the time. I feel like "be gentle with your sister!" comes out of my mouth a million times a day.
Ugh L fell asleep in the car on the way home from gymnastics at 11:15. I let her sleep for a couple minutes but when I went to wake her she was SO sound asleep. So I let her sleep and tried to nap myself (unsuccessfully). She slept for a little over an hour. Not long enough for only one nap today but too long to take an afternoon one 😫 So no sleep for me before work. Booooooo.

I almost just fell in my toilet. As I was sitting down a plastic piece shot out one side, and the seat fell to the other side, hanging by one hinge. I guess I am replacing the toilet seat this weekend. I'm not going to cheap out and get the flimsy one this time.
