I know there is another board for this, but as others have mentioned I'd prefer to hear from my fellow August 15 moms
I know there have been a several "advice" threads, and I was thinking it might be nice to have a place to post them collectively rather than starting a new topic each time.
So, what are your name quandaries? Post them here!

Here is mine. We like the name Adeline for a girl. And H has a Grandmother named Madeline so it would be a nice nod to that. I'm undecided on the middle name though. My thoughts-
Adeline Nicole - my first name Adeline Rose - just because it is pretty

I feel like you're better off with a single syllable middle name, I feel like it just "flows" a little better... does that make sense? I think Adeline Rose is very pretty!

Personally, I think Adeline Rose sounds much prettier than Adeline Nicole.

Don't hate me, but . . . I always thought naming a child after yourself was sort of tacky. Less tacky as a middle name, but still . . .

So far I've only come up with boy names. I'm not really putting much effort until we find out what we are having. I think are going with Daniel for my husbands grandfather. It's growing on me. Logan Daniel Ethan Daniel

I really like Adeline Rose. To me, both names sound a bit old fashioned (which I love), so I think they flow better together.
Cori for a girl. Will everyone give me the side eye?
I work with a lady named Cory. People ALWAYS assume she's a guy - but I think it's the spelling. If I saw Cori with an "I" I'd assume female. Pretty name - this is one of my sister' stop choices if she ever has a daughter.
Boy or girl, middle name is Kelly ( MIL's maiden name; my son has my mother's maiden name, Lewis, as a middle name)
Boy names: Ian or Miles
Girl names: Elise or Delia
Leaning Miles and Elise at the moment, but it changes constantly. What say you, commentariat?
Love Miles and Elise, and think Kelly flows with both. Elise was on my short list of girl names last pregnancy, but H vetoed it. Luckily we agreed on another pretty quickly.
Since the day we found out we were expecting, my husband and I have been set on the name Noah Robert for a boy. (Robert is my dad's name.)
We have not been able to decide on a girl name. For some reason, he really likes Russian names for girls. No, neither of us are Russian. He is Dutch and African-American, and I have a very mixed-up heritage including all different kinds of European and Native American. He specifically likes the name Katya Eloise (middle name was his grandmother's name). I love the name Eloise, but am not totally sold on Katya. What you you all think?

I like Cori, but it sounds more like a nickname to me. I prefer Corinne (pronounced "Kor-in") or possibly Corinna with nn Cori - but certainly no side eye.

I don't mind Katya, but would look at spelling it Katia. Eloise is really pretty with it.
