After much deliberation and pleading on my part we have changed the spelling from Beaux to Beau. I love the cultural significance but I'd hate myself if people judged my child as trashy because of the spelling of their name.
My FIL feels like Vivienne is a snooty name but to be honest, that's what I was going for. I wanted prim & proper. A women who sounds like a lawyer but still feminine.
As for everyone's names:
-Cori - I like it. It's very Blake Lively to me. The cool, sporty girl in school.
-Adeline - I like Adelaide better because I feel like Adeline blends in with all the Addison, Madison, etc names that are so trendy.
-Like Rowan as a first name as well because Genevieve is a mouthful.
-I like Ian better than Miles because I feel like it sounds more mature. I don't love Elise or Delia.
-Like both Logan or Ethan, although a little more preference to Ethan
-Noah Robert is really cute!
Here are all the baby names DH & I have narrowed down over the years. I started this list shortly after we got married and anytime we hear a name we like, we add it to the list. Some are family names, some are just things we heard. Free for you to use and judge: www.babynames.com/namelist/9746362
Just a tip that help us whittle our list down. If you were to write a book about the perfect life of a character boy/man or girl/lady what would the characters name be? What would their occupation be? Would they be sassy & smartassy, or sweet & mild? Do they marry a senator or do they marry their high school sweetheart? Are they a yankee or a southerner, or maybe an California babe? thinking of things like this helped us find the perfect name!
