I had some ovulation-like pains last night. I'll be 4 weeks PP on Wednesday and am EBF. WTF? I really hope it's something else and not the return of my menstrual cycle already. It's the same side I ovulated from this pregnancy, so maybe related to that?
grumpycat88 I'm the same way! My dad used to sing "witchy woman" to me when I was little because I'm such a bear when woken up. DH hates waking me up because I'm either really mean and cranky or I wake up freaking out because I think something's wrong.

I've been woken up by 3 kids tonight. And S just wouldn't settle down so I really haven't gotten any of that good sleep since 3:30am. But DH has left for a 2 night trip and it's me and my 4 littles all by ourselves. I'm feeding S for the second time this morning which is odd because normally he has been waking only once. Hopefully tomorrow is better. I'm tired already.
I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!
L was horrible last night. Finally got him down at 830 but then he was up at 1230 430 and 7. Not too bad but that 6 hour stretch on friday got me hopeful
So so sick of this weather. Another day stuck in the house because of the snow/ice.
LO is up, he slept 5.5 hours then 2 more hours. I can handle that. The current arrangement is that DH takes the LO and I pump in the MOTN , which is working for me.
I'm getting so stir crazy being stuck in this house.
We are going to tour a couple daycare's today. The cost for 3 days a week at these places is more than our house payment. I'm on a waiting list at a more affordable place so we will see

@nursesouder - I hear you. Our newspaper reported that this past month was literally the coldest month on record. Ever. I am so excited for slightly warmer weather this week. Still not breaking the freezing mark, but at least not windchill-going-to-destroy-your-soul cold.
heidih21 daycare is absurd! Before I accepted this new position (Working weekends only) they were raking me over the coals for three days a week daycare that needed to be on a rotating schedule that I only had 8 weeks in advance....I was literally crying over the expense

LO slept six hours last night, which put me at about 5. She didn't wake me up this morning, though. It was a stupid leaky boob. Seriously?! Then my asshole cat woke LO by knocking my phone off of my nightstand. I really feel like it could've been our most successful night of sleep otherwise.
I also just realized we forgot to take the trash out for trash day. Bummer. Last night was kind of rough. BIL landed himself in the hospital with liver failure. I hope this turns out ok and we can all be glad it happened later rather than someone finding him dead later on. By "glad it happened," I just mean that I hope this motivates him to change his ways and we can all be glad he did.

LO wins the sleeping award! He has been STTN for two weeks now and last night he did 10 hours and woke up the happiest baby I'm never having another baby because they would obviously be a demon child after how lucky we have been with this one!
I need a light at the end of the tunnel. DS refuses to sleep. Even cosleeping is a big fail. The only way he'll sleep is if he's being held upright, and I probably have to be bouncing. The only reason I got any sleep last night is because DH took him for a couple of hours. He'll be a month old on Thursday, but was two weeks late, so on wonder weeks he's at the first leap. If you were going through this and now have a great sleeper (3 hour stretches sound amazing), please tell me about it. Intellectually I know this is a phase, emotionally I'm ready to run away. grumpycat88 I am the bitchiest of bitches when I keep getting woken up five minutes after I've put baby down. We should start a support group for our children.

So many pregnant people at the OB-GYN's office. I don't know why I'm shocked by it - ha.
I'm having to wait since I was so late for my appointment (I feel like a jackass for being this late, but I left my house early and the traffic was just horrendous.) I'm kind of enjoying just sitting in the waiting room and reading magazines / playing on my phone.
For some reason my dd woke up this morning when I got up to feed the baby so I have not been able to go back to bed like I usually do. I am trying to get the baby back to sleep but she is so darn loud and unaware of the noise she makes so it makes it hard. When I tell her to be quiet she gets pissed. So now I am stuck listening to these dumb YouTube videos that she is obsessed with, trying to get him to sleep but she keeps waking him up by talking loudly about the videos. Ugh...
Trying to get some work done before I have to run and pump. But stupid computer keeps updating software and rebooting.
Its taking me 30 min to pump with the walking over to the lactation rooms, set up, pump, store milk and wash equip. 3xs a day. Thats 1.5 hrs. No big deal since I eat lunch my desk. Sucks when mtgs interfere with my schedule and my boobs are bursting. Or I have to leave a mtg when a senior exec is attending.
