I want to eat my yogurt but every small movement wakes up LO. He's asleep on the couch next to me. So yogurt is sitting there taunting me. So sadz.
Ugh that's the worst! I was playing fetch the binkie earlier while doing dishes. DD was napping and as soon as I would get to the sink and pick up a dish, she would drop it and start crying. Enough torture babies!!

I have to go back to work tonight. Turns out 6 weeks off = 6 weeks of work to do on your first week back. Yay for being an attorney! I really don't want to pump anymore today - I just want to BF my baby - but if I take him to the office I won't get anything done.
I only broke down twice today though. Mostly because I was so busy. But I did miss my little man like CRAZY!
I feel exactly the same way! Ingrid slept from 9-7 last night! ::twirls::
How old are your LO's? I cannot wait til the night mine sttn!
she's 7 weeks. I think part of the reason she's a good sleeper is she's big (11#, 10 oz last Tuesday) so maybe she can eat more in one sitting. We're already down to 6 feedings, which seems crazy to me. We do a bedtime routine and stuff, too, but I'm not crazy enough to think I've created a good sleeper
Eta: she's a terrible napper if that makes anyone feel better!
pczmtru thanks. I will be a nervous mess until our appt on Monday though!
I would be too! We were almost going to get a referral for club foot on Oliver but the pedi feels he's ok just following him. Nothing compared to a murmur but I'm with you. Hang in there and keep busy!
I've tried several different baby wearing items lately. K'tan wasn't for me. Like the Moby so far. And my ergo is waiting for him to chunk up since I didn't want to buy the NB insert. Hopefully I get a baby hawk for Mother's Day lol
I think we hit the 6 week growth spurt. Been nursing 3 hours straight. ...I'm loosing my mind.
Right there with you. 6wks tomorrow - right on track....
Me too (born 1/20). After 5 hours od eating/needing to be held, he is down and out. Hoping this doesn't ruin his sleep tonight but at this point I don't care.

I struggle with the Moby, and babygirl is already at the weight she needs so we don't need the insert. Also a lot of people I know struggled with the newborn insert and used a rolled up recieving blanket under their butt instead. I haven't put her in yet she just woke up so we will see soon how it works
That's why I decided to wait to use the ergo. Let me know how it goes. I like baby wearing more than I thought I would!
Just got back from LO's 2 month appt. She's only 6 weeks old, but I scheduled it early due to DH being sick. She got all her shots. As soon as the nurse left, I picked her up and cried right along with her. It killed me to see her in so much pain, even if it is for the greater good.

He has been doing it since he was 5 weeks old, so almost 2 weeks. My DH'S mom said he STTN when he was 2 weeks old, so maybe my boys are just good sleepers

Mine is over 12 lbs already and I think that does have something to do with it. He feeds less times during the day now too. (But he naps well too, don't hate me...)

I feel you. I was off 12 wks. I read the most recent emails and assumed anything older should've been taken care of. Wrong. There's one project that had so many people pulled into it & gets handed back to me at the same frickin' status no progress whatsoever in 3 months. The only reason I don't have more work piled up is that I was constantly texted questions on how to do things. Even talking about it is getting me all worked up. I need a beer.
DH left for China this morning and I survived solo bedtime without losing my temper or yelling at the toddler. I celebrated with leftover Indian food and a beer.
Maybe tonight is the night I get more than an hour of sleep at a time.
Glad i'm getting back into our routine! My LO just went from napping and calm to pissed off. Guess he doesn't like pooping cause that's when he gets like this!
My lo feels the same way about pooping when he's asleep. If he poops when he's awake he's fine. But if it happens while he's sleeping it's the most dramatic thing ever!
Went to my 1st yoga class since being cleared for activity on Friday. It felt so good! I appreciate final relaxation even more now that I have lo. It was nice to lay without having to worry about how long I have until he starts crying. It was weird not feeling him move around in my belly though. He was always super active when I was doing yoga.

Thanks! Hope everything turns out for your LO. With 2 under 2 I think I will stay busy
