kml218, it could take the linea negra a long time to go away. With DS1 it was like 6 months. Another reason why I'll probably be wearing a tankini this year.

Seriously?! Damn it! We are going to Puerto Rico in May and I was really hoping I could wear my bikini again!
littlelion they make adapters that you plug in to the lighter thing in your car and can plug in your wall plug into that. You can find them at Walmart in the automotive section.
Thanks! if that works I can try to eliminate the last pump session.
Medela makes a plug specifically for this. As long as yours is a 9volt it should be compatible.
LO wins the sleeping award! He has been STTN for two weeks now and last night he did 10 hours and woke up the happiest baby I'm never having another baby because they would obviously be a demon child after how lucky we have been with this one!
I feel exactly the same way! Ingrid slept from 9-7 last night! ::twirls::
How old are your LO's? I cannot wait til the night mine sttn!

I think whatever you feel comfortable in is good. If I could lose 20 lbs, I wouldn't mind the dark line. There was a lady in Mexico at our resort rocking a bikini with a very visible c-section scar (or that's what it looked like), and my only thoughts were:
1. She looks good 2. Good for her for being confident enough to wear that 3. Lucky her for being able to go on vacation with no kids
Still there.. did you request your content to be deleted?
Yep. I got a confirmation email for it and after a couple days I tried logging in and couldn't. I'm going to email TD today and see what's going on. I'm kinda glad it didn't get deleted though. I hoped she would see how much support she has and that it helped her in some way. Did she say how she was doing?
She said they were coping as well as expected. She didn't reply to my private message yet. I don't know if she's even been on since her post.

I've spent most of the day on the couch with little one who only wants to eat or cry if I even dare to think I could put him down. Glad that I can spend the day on the couch with him but it would be nice to take a shower.
My 2 yr old DD is going through a hitting phase. Any suggestions on how to get her to stop? Not going to spank and have tried time outs but not helping.
Stop her after she's hit, look at her directly and say something like "no, we don't hit. That hurts. Ouch!" be consistent. Consistency is a huge part of discipline.
I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!
LO weighs 11lbs 1oz now and is 23.25 inches long. My biggest baby yet at two months! The shots were awful he screamed and got so worked up that he almost didn't want to nurse afterwards but at least they are over with now! Hopefully he isn't fussy or anything for the rest of the day.
Love tit for the healthy weight! Sorry the shots were rough. S will have his next week or the next. I'm not looking forward to it either.

If he's hit me, I tell him that was not nice and walk away from him. He's still little though and I'm far from having discipline figured out. My sister just read 1-2-3 Magic and has had a lot of success with it, so I'm going to check it out eventually.
@4litttlebears thanks! We have tried that a little bit but will try to do it every time.
No problem! It'll work. I have a very strong willed 3yo, and we do not spank either. Love and consistency around here, until they get older and can understand the concept of privileges. lol

Just went to see out first daycare. It was amazing but if we pick this place it will hardly be worth me working. I think my take home will be $150 a week after daycare. The only real reason I would have to stay working is I carry our medical insurance. Really hoping my husband finds a better job so I can go to part time!

With my daughter I would grab her hand (firmly but not rough) and look her in the eyes and say "No, we don't hit" again firmly and then walk away from her.
My little guy seems to be under the impression that he should be attached to my boob all day. If he isn't, he cries. At least he sleeps well at night...

Our doctor recommended this book as well. Luckily DS's "hits" are never harder than a tap, but when there's the intent behind it (you know the face...), we basically do the same. And repeat, and repeat and repeat. Now if I could figure out how to get him to stop throwing his toys...
@littlefoote sorry about the shots they are no fun. My pedi has given a topical numbing cream before the shots and that helps a lot. Maybe for next time. It's by rx only. Also yay for a growing healthy baby!
I've had 2 or 3 calls from daycare since LO started last week. Each time it's for something misc. But every time I see their number come up on my phone I panic a little.
Glad i'm getting back into our routine! My LO just went from napping and calm to pissed off. Guess he doesn't like pooping cause that's when he gets like this!
Today is my first day back to class and I cried the whole way here. I know my LO will be fine with DH but this is snuggle time I'm missing out on. I can't imagine when I go back to work
