Wow dh actually took LO out and into the living room with him when he woke up so I got a glorious extra hour or 2 of undisturbed sleep. But then I woke up with rock hard boobs and had to pump those puppies out.

First pump break of my first day back. Not too bad so far. Minus none of my accounts work so charting is a biotch. Fingers crossed for the rest of the day
littlelion, if there's a fridge in the lactation room, you could keep your pump parts in a ziploc bag in the fridge so you don't have to wash them each time. That's what I do. Also I pump to/from work in the car (hands-free bra), and that saves a little time. But yeah, it's tough.

I just realized why DH took LO out with him. He was really wanted some loving last night and I shot him down so maybe he's hoping this will up his chances.
I feel like my milk production is finally regulating itself. This should make me happy, but it makes me nervous that pumping won't be as easy at work as I imagined.
LO wins the sleeping award! He has been STTN for two weeks now and last night he did 10 hours and woke up the happiest baby I'm never having another baby because they would obviously be a demon child after how lucky we have been with this one!
I feel exactly the same way! Ingrid slept from 9-7 last night! ::twirls::
maebb, thanks, I'm going to try the fridge idea. My pump doesn't have a battery. Or if it does, it doesn't work...it was a hand me down from my sis. LaBellaVida, mmmm chocolate. I'm always so hungry even when I make sure to have my healthy snacks. I just ate yogurt with granola. I eat more, and worse, now than when I was pregnant.
I have to call the daycare and see how baby is doing. He was so miserable last night with a stuffed up nose. We tried the nasal spray twice and I could still hear him sniff up snot and swallow. He couldn't sleep or eat well. When I dropped him off he had fallen asleep probably felt better upright in his car seat.

I think I'd like a new diaper bag. Something nice looking, and doesn't scream 'diaper bag. ' perhaps leather, and can pass as a purse. I've seen one I like, but now I don't remember the name of it.

I'm looking for a purse type diaper bag today. I found an actual purse that I like that could work but I don't want to get it until I look around more.
littlelion they make adapters that you plug in to the lighter thing in your car and can plug in your wall plug into that. You can find them at Walmart in the automotive section.
My 2 yr old DD is going through a hitting phase. Any suggestions on how to get her to stop? Not going to spank and have tried time outs but not helping.

Thanks! if that works I can try to eliminate the last pump session.
That thread is still there? I deleted my bump account so I thought it would have gone away too.
Still there.. did you request your content to be deleted?
Yep. I got a confirmation email for it and after a couple days I tried logging in and couldn't. I'm going to email TD today and see what's going on. I'm kinda glad it didn't get deleted though. I hoped she would see how much support she has and that it helped her in some way. Did she say how she was doing?
My LO has been sharting for the past 5 minutes. I knew she was having a problem with gas this morning, but wow. I'm afraid to change her diaper for fear of an explosion all over me. Good thing I haven't showered yet.
1: when is this stupid linea nigra going to go the fuck away!? It's driving me nuts! Between that and my new found stretch marks I feel like frankenstein's wife!
2: last night I had 2 captain and cokes (first drinks in almost a year!) and they were amazing! I've talked a lot to H about wanting to drink and I've had plenty of opportunities but each time I chickened out for some reason. I didn't get much of a buzz which was fine with me, but the idea that I could get a buzz if I wanted to was pretty awesome.
3: Z went to bed at 11 (very strange for her) which gave H and I time to cuddle on the couch before bed. The captain made me a little frisky so we ended up dtd last night and it was amazing! I'm hoping for a repeat performance tonight!

DS ate both breakfast and lunch with no complaining. DD has been nursing every three hours without needing to snack in between. Now, both DS and DD are napping, in their beds. I feel like a fucking rockstar.
