Daycare is closed all week. Not a big deal for me since I don't work and we don't have to pay! But of course it's supposed to rain everyday. We can't spend the whole week indoors!
Also, a friend that uses the same daycare is bringing her son over tomorrow. He'll be 2 in September. I'm kinda nervous about my ability to keep two almost 2 year-olds alive and happy for a whole day!

I told H last night that he was responsible for bath time for A tonight. Since I haven't been traveling I've been doing it every time. I came home and he was fixing the kitchen light (been out for 3 weeks). Took him awhile and I didn't think he would still do bathtime. I'm shocked!! He is upstairs giving her a bath and I'm sitting on my ass and loving it! Dinner is on the stove already done....winning
I have the weirdest combo of hot mess emotions people coming over for dinner tomorrow and I JUST found out. First, DH's good friend growing up (Katie) we just found out is going through a divorce (and has been seeing a new guy for a year now) and is coming with her new boyfriend to kind of emergency spend the night because her father is suddenly in a medically induced coma in the hospital near our house. So she messaged me (we are good friends too now) and I told her she was totally welcome with new guy (her kiddos are with her ex I guess). Then DH tells me just now he invited our, er, estranged? Friend Ryan over for dinner tomorrow. We just found out he is living back in this area because his wife and daughter moved to London (for wife's job) and he is supposedly having visa trouble. I think it sounds more like marriage trouble. And these two people, Ryan and Katie are DH's most emotional and sensitive friends and they were BFF with each other through college and then had a falling out. I just had to write that all out so I can kind of keep track of the various hot button subjects that will arise. I really love both of them but I'm going to be drinking heavily to deal with the counseling session post kid bedtime I'm sure will happen. Wish me luck!
Fuuuuckballz. I forgot Katie's dad is an alcoholic and Ryan's father basically drank himself to death so getting sloshed would be inappropriate. Is pot acceptable?
megaroo64 I had to LOL at going to an Airborn party! FFMC: I am one of those crazy ladies using the anti aging line. I totes pass for 31. Really though, my skin is super sensitive and also acne prone and greasy and flaky too and it's the only thing I have ever used that kept it all in check. So I shell out, but I don't use the night cream. A friend of mine sells it and I get pretty good deals through her.

Man- this night is getting better and better for you!! Yes to pot. And drinking on the sly. Are you an obvious drunk? Cause if not- drink it up still.
Funny side note. A few months ago I noticed Katie was tagged in a new guys' named photo and it said "beautiful morning with a beautiful woman" and a picture of her house. I said to H, "hey! Are Katie and Mark getting divorced?!" And showed him the post. He was like "no no no no, marks just crazy, he probably changed his name as a joke." Then two weeks later, "hey mike, now there is a sister of the other guy in a post with them. She has the same last name" and h was all like "the whole family is crazy Kat, they probably all changed their names." I thought this sounded bananas, but figured he knew her husband better than I did. Then she texts me a few weeks ago about meeting her new boyfriend and I was all like "whaaaaaa?" And she said she swears she told H a YEAR ago that her and Mark were getting divorced. H swears she did not, but man, I felt like such a bozo. Especially since mike had talked me into her ex being like a new person or something. Lesson learned on believing DH!

My day with O was good! One itty bitty non-mobile baby feels like a joke now. We went on a bunch of errands, bought some new golf shoes (thank you children for adding a whole size to my clodhoppers) and went for a little walk. Only catch, O slept maybe 45 minutes the whole day. So this evening with him and a tired K from her first day back at daycare was a bit hairy but we got through it. I may have actually yelled "Serenity NOW!" at one point and I may have already opened a bottle of wine though...
O also passed an important milestone of getting his first shiner (pretty sure it will be one by tomorrow) from his sister. She totally didn't mean to and she felt really bad after, but she threw a book in the chair in her room and it bounced off and on to his face where he was laying on the floor. Poor guy wailed so loud She kept saying "sawwy Oh-ah" over and over and kissing it better.

Finally caught up, but pissed that the board ate my responses earlier and is not letting me love tit! Plus I can only get on with my phone so forgive the typos.
sympkin – Thank you for the well wishes and workinit, thank you for checking up on me. I’m doing okay. Physically the recovery is going slowly and it’s frustrating. Mentally, well I’m just taking things one day at a time. I’m trying to get a counseling appointment schedule this week. I also have another blood draw tomorrow. Fingers crossed that my hormone levels are down now (they were still high after the surgery) or we’ll have a mystery on our hands that I’m not ready to deal with. sctiger – Glad the interview went well. I hope they get back to you soon because I hate the waiting. And I always send thank yous to everyone I interviewed with. huckleberry08 – Sending you positive vibes! limabeanmom – Good luck tomorrow! @theformerwren - G is my kind of gal! The pics from her party looked awesome. I'm glad it all went well and I can totally relate to family party never equals small get together. It's hard to do those big parties, but B enjoyed his so much that it was worth it. megsw85 – Love the purple!
cl8badb and @violet1185 Love the pics of J & J! They look like they had a blast!
kames12 already stalking the post man. But only because it's hot out and I want to prevent as much melting as possible, not because I may need to hide any evidence from DH. Hmm...I better come up with another father's day gift idea quick.
anustart1 good luck with your dinner. I'm totally sober and still had a hard time keeping their stories straight. (Maybe thats just because i cant read thoough.) Please don't forget to share with us how that all plays out.

My work is making it hard to get anything done today. They sent an email with some details about our vacation resort next week and gave us $300 Amex card to spend on whatever! All inclusive food, drinks, butler service....cannot wait!
And I love the SPAM title and love this song! FFMC: I didn't know he was saying murderer for the longest time until my roommate corrected me. I was singing "word 'em up" which makes complete sense, right?
Didn't know it was murderer 'till this thread! I was still singing word 'me up! Ha! So you are ahead of me
It took me another 45 mins to get home after I texted you that I was turning around kames12! I live 20 mins in your office and was in the car for like 1.5 hrs with no chocolate to show for it! Hopefully it's better tomorrow for my second attempt.
Ugh! I was telling a coworker about the traffic you hit! I hope it's better tomorrow!
cl8badb and other eczema sufferers, have you tried coconut oil? I broke down and bought some today, along with cotton gloves and fancy hand soap. Hoping it works.
Luckily I can still type on the iPad keyboard with the gloves. #priorities
I am allergic to basically all makeup and hair products. I found a few things from the drugstore that work, mostly, but I constantly itch when I'm off allergy meds.

I havent tried it. The only thing that has helped or soothed my fingers is the cetaphil restoraderm lotion.
I asked the infertility doctor about that disease rabbit had mentioned (APD? or ADP?) where you may be allergic to your own progesterone which causes eczema flare ups. He said that he doubts thats the case and he thinks it is my estrogen level causing it. (I have low estrogen levels) Im beginning to think he was right. Now that im taking estrogen and progesterone my fingers have been pretty clear. Its only been a few days but i will keep you updated.
If i do get more flare ups i will try the coconut oil.

Thanks for the good vibes, everyone! We are having another little boy and I am SO excited. His kidneys are dilated just like LO's were so we have to recheck them in a month, but everything is structurally and functionally sound. He was such a wiggle worm that the scan took a full hour.

I've been lucky enough to only have a few mild eczema outbreaks (on my elbows), and coconut oil totally did the trick! Hope you have as much luck with it!
