I need to find a good nursing bra now that I'm going back to work, but o have to wait until pay day to do that. We are broke!
Where did you ladies find decent nursing bras that didn't break the bank?
If you're over a C cup, you're probably going to have to break the bank. That's been my experience at least. I need to pull the trigger on one but yikes at $70 per bra or over the shoulder boulder holder, as my loving H calls it.
Yeah, I'm DD at least. I guess $70 for a good bra is less than buying formula. I have one but it is uncomfortable. I've basically been wearing my night nursing bras during the day since I don't wear decent clothes very often. I've been a slob since I gave birth.

I wear these from target. I cannot wear underwire and be comfortable. Disclaimer, I am a 36D when I am not engorged or empty. I do wear nipple pads and padding inserts from sports bra to tame my headlights since I pump during the day.
He has 3, I rotate them out for washing, but I just can't seem to keep them fresh. They always come out of the wash smelling great, but it takes less than a day of use to get stinky again. I've tried the washing machine and hand washing. Letting it dry out in the dryer and wait a day before use, still stinky within half a day. I bought another 2, and I'm certain they'll get stinky too.
Anyone have experience in de-stinking or keeping stuffed animals and lovey fresh longer? I'm so tired of having to wash a lovey every night. The really bad part is, DS's head/face always smells stinky when I grab him from the crib!

Try washing them with some baking soda or even try some white vinegar.

Zulily. I got 3 or 4 lamaze bras there. They go fairly large. I got a bunch of 42 DD bras there and they have bands up to 44 and cups up to G depending on the sale.
I have always noticed the same thing. Why do pregnant women model nursing bras or tops. So strange.
My friend told me she wore nursing bras throughout her pregnancy for comfort.
I remember my sister telling me I shouldn't wear underwires while pregnant. I was too lazy to look up why, and too lazy to buy them until the end, but maybe it's actually a 'thing' to wear nursing bras already during pregnancy?

seamonster, do we pay import tax when we shop at zulily? I couldn't find a definite answer. With Victoria's Secret (before it came to Europe) I paid more for the import tax than for the products. But I love zulily stuff!
My dad pulled over to sleep. DS woke up so now I'm holding him while everyone else sleeps. I will need all the coffee South Carolina has tomorrow.
oh nooooooes! Good luck, hope he goes down again soon. If not I shall send an iv drip of espresso to south carolina. I'm sure it will find it's way to you... it goes where it's needed

I was just thinking about that a few months ago. When I was pregnant, I forked over some pretty $$ at VS for the best wireless bras they had, like $45 bucks a pop. I moved up sizes twice and I bought 3 bras each time. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I bought some Bravado nursing bras for post partum, those also cost $45 a pop and I once again invested in 3. What I should have done was to rock those nursing bras instead of getting the 2nd batch of humongous bras from VS - which I'm certain I'll never wear again unless I get pregnant again in the future. that way I could have saved myself $150 and got even more use out of my nursing bras.

That's what I did, got nursing bras when I needed larger bras while pregnant. I couldn't bare the idea of spending that much for (likely) such short term use. I haven't worn a non-nursing bra in nearly a year!

I didn't because I bought on zulily.Co.UK and shipped to a UK address. I don't know if they have a site outside the US and UK.
I know what you mean about import taxes. I should have gotten my maternity compression socks and tights sent to my mom and then had her mail them. Shipping was as much as my order and then I didn't even know about the import tax on top of that when they were delivered. That was as much as them as well.

It isn't even fun to lurk anymore because it is just sad because there isn't anyone there and depressing because the people who are there are complete asshats with no good advice.

Poor DS took a huge turn for the worse in the part 2.5 hours. I did 15 minutes in a super steamy bathroom, lots of saline spray, the nose frida, and finally some Tylenol cause he's so miserable. Told DH to wake me for any MOTN wake ups so I can nurse him. If this kid would bedshare he would so be sleeping with me tonight.

Poor G. This was us last week. I even broke out the RNP for him to sleep in to keep him elevated some. Hope this is the peak and he gets better from here.

Thanks. Me too. DH asked if I wanted to cancel our beach trip but I told him if it's just a cold there's no reason to stay here. We're going to my parents' condo so we know it's nice/clean and has a real crib.
