Welp, time for randoms.
It's almost 5am here and I am listening to the loud snow plows and the wind howling outside. Juno is here, lady's. So thankful that we have a stockpile if booze, Oreos and firewood. Those are the only storm essentials you need, right? Add your other blizzard necessities to this list!

mrscjmb im sorry. I cant imagine how hard going dairy free would be so dont beat yourself up for it! Hope your LO gets better soon.
sweetadeline how much snow did you get? We got nothing but rain. Yay!
I tried getting DD2 to sleep without her swaddle last night and for two hours I would just keep patting her back to sleep. Finally I gave up and fed her one more time and put her in her swaddle. She slept from 12:30 to 4:30. She hasnt done that in a long time! She wasnt even doing that long of a stretch in her swaddle there for awhile. Now what should I do? Keep trying to break her from her swaddle or no? She isnt really trying to roll over yet but can roll from back to side without the swaddle.
And today is day two of potty training. DD1 had one accident last night at supper, but Im calling yesterday a success! Hopefully today goes well, too.

I had a unicorn last night. She slept 8 hours! Too bad I'm somehow still exhausted and had to keep reminding myself to stay awake while driving.
My work gave me a Symphony pump kit to use with the gospital pumps. For some reasob, I've never bothered to go up to the lactation room until today. The pump is great! Too bad I left the bags to store all this milk in in my office downstairs. I'm going to have to Mac Gyver a solution to get back down to my office. Womp, womp.
APurp got up at 2:30, I stuffed the binky in, then up at 3:30 for food. I'm doubtful she will make it until 8, but I'm going to start my workout anyway...

I'm so glad you got some sleep! And happy pumping!
spurp13 pass some of that energy over here please!
I am running late already but I have to pump so here I sit. Just received a meeting request for an 8 am meeting I cannot miss since it is about our acquisition and team merger. No shower for me today... I have just enough time to throw in some clothes and make up and run out the door. Yay
I want a snow day! It's the one thing I hate about Seattle is that we don't always get them. I want just one day I can take ds1 into the backyard to play in it and I don't have to drive a couple hours to see it.

We are supposed to get up to 3 ft over the next couple of days!
I must have accidentally eaten something with dairy or soy in it because DD has been a screamy, pukey mess since yesterday morning. Ugh.
All the sads.
The sane thing happened to me this week and I felt awful. The pedi said many babies grow out of it around 3 months but apparently that's not true for us.

Yay sleep! Also the symphony has an autoshutoff and beep and 3min I found out the other night. So if ya nod off...
Went 7 1/2 hours between pumping/feeding. Holy boobs it won't stop hurting and the milk is still flowing!
Now that Persephone is back (does she have numbers or anything? I was going to tag her), is that it? Has everyone made it ashore?
She's back?! How did I miss this?
Re: soy IS in everything. I was super strict about it for the first 6 weeks but I have begun to allow myself to have things with small traces of soy (like wheat bread) because it was getting to be impossible. I've been Eating lots of fruits, veggies, nuts and oatmeal. Mad someone who loves cooking and experimenting with new flavors, I am terribly bored.
Poor baby didn't sleep well. Ended up moving her to the rock n play because I thought maybe not lying flat would help her sleep better. Nope. She just kept waking up from sneezing and coughing and would whimper and then doze off. Repeat about 2 to 3 times every hour last night.
She wouldn't take he paci and wasn't waking up enough to really cry for eating so I let her be. Now I'm worried she needs to be eating at night since weight...
She was right by my head on my side of the bed so I got barely any sleep for the second night in a row. DH took her to the living room sometime after 4 am. While I'm grateful for a little uninterrupted sleep it would have been nice if he would have offered earlier than 45 minutes before my alarm was going off.
