I was fully expecting to have to work today because we didn't get much yet from this storm and I work at a financial institution which is exempt from the travel ban. Now I have to eat my whoopie pie in secret damn it! The kid can't have any!
Dd is going through a growth spurt so we co slept in the guest bed so everyone could get some sleep last night. The EPIC snowstorm here is a DUD. Absolutely no snow over night and they were calling for 8-12in yesterday. I want a job where I can be wrong all the time and still get paid!!
Hope everyone has a fabulous day- I'm going to try to keep up!

I borrowed someone's unicorn last night. Thank you. Mommy needed the sleep. Toddler still woke at 12:30 but baby slept until 5:30. I had to make sure she was still breathing at 4:30 bc paranoia. She must not really be eating much at night bc my boobs aren't the rocks I would have expected. So those 4 wakeups we've been having were just to fuck with me?
Someone let me borrow their unicorn last night! She slept 9 hours in her RNP. We attempted the crib first but she only slept 30 minutes in there after squawking for 2 hours. After she woke up, I fed her and plopped her in the RNP. I keep choosing sleep over the crib and she might be carting her RNP to college, but I'm okay with that.
Everyone in the blizzard be careful today! I think the worst is over for us.

Same here. She had me fooled. No engorgement whatsoever.
DD1 is insisting on wiping her hands off after every little square of toast. After the 100th time I did this I said, "why don't we wait until you're all done and then we'll wash them?" She looked at me and then wiped them on DD2. Nice. :/
applegrape I kind of love dreams like that. I never remembered my dreams until I was pregnant with my first. Now I think I remember some of them because I have to sleep so lightly.
crawford411 LO still wakes up at night but it's not like I'm not getting any sleep but I am still exhausted. Does that ever go away or is it just a permanent part of parenting?
sweetsurprise You are a really nice girl so please don't take this the wrong way but you have GOT to get another avatar. You're a very pretty girl, so please close your mouth! We just don't need your "oh" face :-)
re blizzard. Yesterday I had to be at work at 6 and I had to leave super early and drive slowly to make that happen. Then it took me 2 hours to get home instead of 30 minutes. All fine, whatever. But my boss didn't show up, citing the snow. She said she couldn't get out of her driveway. I'm calling bullshit because the rest of the staff made it. And she could have come in at any time. I think if you're the boss, you make absolutely sure you get your ass to work in the bad weather especially. What kind of example is that setting? Also I wish I could choose to work from home whenever I feel like it. Because the only thing more annoying to me than calling off in a situation like that is someone getting to work from home when others would have to call off. I'm only talking about my job, in our healthcare setting. Not trying to stir up an UO or FFTC. end rant
WTAF? Ran out the door this morning running late to PT. Stepped on the edge of the curb , turned my ankle, and fell into the car. At the ER now getting evaluated because I can't put weight on it and all the pain. For a temp building they put a lot of work into it...though I suppose it make sense since the medical center won't be rebuilt until 2016.
But seriously this fucking hurts. Phone distraction not really helping.
I was semi MIA yesterday, we had a lot of errands to run and projects around the house.
Today, the dog is going to the groomer, we're getting a new car (lease), and I have to work tonight.. The boy was up every 3 hours last night, after about a week of STTN. I wish he would just pick one and stick with it. Is Voldy, I mean manwithtubesock, gone now?
The sane thing happened to me this week and I felt awful. The pedi said many babies grow out of it around 3 months but apparently that's not true for us.
DS had it as well and is just starting to grow out of it. He will be three in March. Sorry your LO struggled this week. It's so hard.
I'm wondering if I did the same thing. LO was extra fussy and puked way more than normal for her yesterday. Like, I don't ever put a burp cloth on my shoulder when I burp her, and I felt the need to do that every time yesterday. And she was super gassy last night. Poor girl.
Damn notches. 8 pages already? I'm not like ssfc2014 or @raeofsunshine and I cannot remember everything, but I read and gave love tits so that should count for something! I'm jelly of the snow for real. DS slept in his RNP again last night and gave me 5 hours if only the toddler had slept. She was awake on and off screaming because of "a noise"
Question for you non-swaddling moms - how do you keep your LOs from waking themselves with their hands in their mouths? Or is mine the only one in crazy teething mode? It's his life's goal to keep his hands in his mouth at all times now and I think it's keeping him awake.
It's almost 5am here and I am listening to the loud snow plows and the wind howling outside. Juno is here, lady's. So thankful that we have a stockpile if booze, Oreos and firewood. Those are the only storm essentials you need, right? Add your other blizzard necessities to this list!

Seriously!! And I'm still getting used to your new name. I'm like "Who is this cclilbit tagging me??" hahaha.
Bought a few new button downs at Old Navy yesterday and a pair of cheapie boots to wear for the rest of the season since I broke the zipper on mine. So much easier getting dressed knowing my hoobs will not be busting out of my shirt.
Oh ... And I finally ended up nodding off around 3. Perfect since my alarm goes off at 4:30 :/
Also first time postpartum wearing heels. #feelingnormal
I keep forgetting I can wear them again. Most of the pants that fit right now are too long and I'm ruining the bottoms by wearing flats! I'm sure I'll remember on the day they don't salt the parking lot...
