My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs.
TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
Trying to catch up from the last three days. I worked all weekend night shift, I was either working or sleeping so I'm getting all the baby snuggles in today! One of the main reasons we moved back to the Midwest was to be around family and this past weekend I'm so glad we did both my mom and MIL helped so much with DD since DH had to also work!
Putting in my order for a unicorn baby - even if for only just ONE night where she sleeps like 6 hours, I would be happy - preferably on a weekend! I feel like we don't even get a random night of this any more.
I have that Angelcare one that monitors movement, but when we used it when he was a newborn, it went off all the time! I think I need to buy a video monitor. We're going to try and put him in the crib at night starting on Thursday.
We have the Snuza hero and have been using it since he was 5 weeks. It's the only reason I started sleeping, and we've never had a false alarm.

So I'm home with the sick twins, but one perk: getting to get caught up on all of the tv shows on the dvr that DH doesn't like (Girls, Vanderpump Rules, Real Housewives, American Idol). Trashy tv for the win!

Sorry your littles are sick! Hope they get well soon.
Just got done pumping. I consistently get 2-3 oz of of lefty, and 5-6 oz out of righty. Although, they feel equally full. Silly lefty.
Here's hoping all those needing giant cups of coffee today get them. And those home on snow days enjoy the cuddles those out in the snow - be safe!
I'm in the need a giant cup of coffee crew. I tend to have a unicorn baby, who usually goes down within 30 min (including eating) and then does a 7 hour stretch. The past two nights it's taking 2+ hours for her to go down, which means mommy goes to bed much later than usual. I know I still probably get more sleep than most of you, but I hope she cuts this crap out tonight.
Someone let me borrow their unicorn last night! She slept 9 hours in her RNP. We attempted the crib first but she only slept 30 minutes in there after squawking for 2 hours. After she woke up, I fed her and plopped her in the RNP. I keep choosing sleep over the crib and she might be carting her RNP to college, but I'm okay with that.
Everyone in the blizzard be careful today! I think the worst is over for us.
Well our DDs can dorm together in their RNP.
We tried the crib last night for the first time. In the first hour I put her pacifier back in at least 6 times and had to rock her back to sleep once. I finally caved and put her back in the RNP after 2 hours in crib.

DS is officially too big for the bouncer. I only put him in it when I shower, but I put him in it today and the thing dipped almost to the floor. When he kicked, his butt bounced off the ground.
**weight warning**
I did an inaccurate weigh-in with him and he's up to 20 pounds.
crawford411 LO still wakes up at night but it's not like I'm not getting any sleep but I am still exhausted. Does that ever go away or is it just a permanent part of parenting?
sweetsurprise You are a really nice girl so please don't take this the wrong way but you have GOT to get another avatar. You're a very pretty girl, so please close your mouth! We just don't need your "oh" face :-)
I think it's the constantly listening part of parenting. If she makes even the slightest noise, my brain thinks she must be waking up. I'm thinking thie kight go away when she moves out,

Thanks- I think we're over the hump and on the upswing. Last night was WAY better than the Awful Night the night before.

windwithfingers, We have the Summer Infant video monitor and I really like it. He still sleeps in our room, but I've been using it so I can put him down and go back out to the living room and hang out with DH for a bit before going to bed.
darwinfish, is the Snuza hard to keep on? I've never actually seen someone use it, but it attaches to the diaper right?
Since having DD - we almost ALWAYS make a pot now instead of using the Keurig. We easily kill a pot between two of us in a morning (weekend) while home.
Thank god for technology. DD2 has one of our old iPhones and she's watching frosty on it. This means my eyes and ears don't have to be assaulted all day while it just plays on the DVD player.

amandajean12 To add to our conversation yesterday. I passed a lady this morning after I dropped A off wearing a hoodie tied tight around her head and a scarf over her mouth running...it was 55 and sunny out. I don't even wear that much when I run in 25 degree weather.

Point for the State of TX. I have a meeting in a state building today and they have multiple pumping rooms to check out and they even provide you a pump. I figured I would be pumping in the car.
Unrelated I may or may not packed my lunch in with my pump cooler.

BF doesn't drink coffee so I'd only make it for me. But still I take 2 cups in my to go mug with me to work.
