famousea that's one of the reasons why ds1 has a TV in his room. So if he wants to watch a certain movie I don't have to watch it over and over. I don't care if that's an unrecommended thing it works for us and I don't have to go crazy.
Welp, DS is now a whopping 11lbs 13oz at his 4 month check-up. Little Nugget did not like the oral stuff or the shots this time. I actually had to give him Tylenol for the first time. I got myself a birthday cake oreo blizzard from DQ since we had to suffer (and I promised him when he is older he can partake in the treats too).
He was a hot mess until I turned the tv and the light in the living room and let him swing it out. He slept from 7pm to 10pm, ate a bottle, and then out again until 7am.
He seems ok this morning so hopefully we are over the hump and done with shots until 6 months!
Sorry @mrsscjmb about DD. Hopefully that bad soy will be out of her system soon.
@nightowl hope your ankle heals quickly.
All the coffee to whomever needs it!
Sorry about the sick babies aurora1181. Enjoy your cheesy tv and snuggle dem babies!

I feel like crap today. So much congestion, my whole face itches, blowing my nose every five seconds. My boss already told me to go home, but I know the worst is yet to come. I'm going to push through today and will probably need a sick day tomorrow.
So last night I dreamed that DH and I spontaneously ran away to Florida. As I've mentioned a couple times we used to live there and would like to move back so this isn't that unusual. The problem is when we got there we realized that we had left DD in alone in our apartment napping in the RnP
A few weeks ago I dreamed that I was at work during the week when DH works and I had no idea who, if anyone, was watching DD.

Feel better carriedaway19 (also, love the ecard as it is so applicable to life)! Hope your ankle heals fast @nightowl89! purplehippo - popcorn is clearly a vegetable, and you've got to have dessert! so jealous of the brownies!
DS is officially too big for the bouncer. I only put him in it when I shower, but I put him in it today and the thing dipped almost to the floor. When he kicked, his butt bounced off the ground.
**weight warning**
I did an inaccurate weigh-in with him and he's up to 20 pounds.
What a big boy! Way to grow, Q! I can't fathom carrying him around all the time. My arms hurt thinking about it.
Also, that's almost as much as my toddler (though my toddler is in like the 15% percentile, so he's little anyway).

Can I ask this. WHY is it ok for a male in the work place to just be like hahaha I'm not good at organization, so eventually other people have to do it for them. WHY IS THAT OK!? My co-worker does that, makes our front desk person and me do all of his filing (which I havent, I refuse and the shit just piles up so he has to dig through it to find things *evil laugh*) AND they want me to use his log in to renew his state certification information. WTF?! Does this guy do any of his own shit?!? How is this ok?! You're 40 years old dude, figure it out!

Not caught up yet, and baby weight trigger warning:
DD gained 8oz this past week! 3 month growth spurt FTW!!! And this is with her being fussy on the boob the past few days. She's also teetered right back up to the "line" that she had sunk below on the growth chart (so that she has no longer made the dreaded double-line cross). I'm so happy/excited/relieved!!
My kid loves those damn monkeys. Sometimes I think he likes them more than me. It will be a sad day in our house when he outgrows the bouncer. It is how we eat in our house!!

I'm wondering how I'm going to shower when the thing doesn't bounce anymore. It's going to royally piss him off!

Speaking of growing babies, does anyone else's kid cycle through getting chubby, then all of a sudden get longer and un-chub. Then repeat? I swear she looks like a different kid this week than she did last week.
