She got up around 7:30 and h took her since she didn't seem hungry. I got to sleep in until 9:30. H is making me tea and breakfast now. I love him!
I'm going to sleep in the car. We really need to go on a date, so I don't want to cancel it.
Oh, LO had a huge poop so I'm wondering if she now slept so horribly because she had that poop working on her. Then again, she was up talking happily, so I'm not sure that's what a poop would do to a baby...

I know I really shouldn't bitch about a good nap. But when DB wakes up for an hour in the morning and then takes a 2+ hour nap.. I really just wish you would've stayed asleep a little bit longer for the night! Well, at least I got some work done...

My daughter has no idea how to nap without her swaddle. I just spent 45 minutes trying to get her to sleep, and the only thing hat worked was giving her a light blanket that she smushed up all over her face -__- so now I'm spending nap time in the glider watching her breathe and waiting until I can actually move it off her face.
Heading to BRU to get one of those lovey things so I don't have to monitor *every* nap time!!
Last night was the third night of regression... She woke, crying, at least 8 times in between 10 and 7:30 last night. I have reached a new level of bleary eyed exhaustion. Where did my perfect sleeper go? Fingers crossed that we are almost done.

Sleepy hi-five of solidarity. My baby was sleeping 8-9 hours a few weeks ago. Sob.
She's been sleeping for over an hour for my mom, too.

Cole does this too. Wakes up anywhere between 5:30-6:30 eats gets a diaper change and falls back asleep for usually 1.5-2.5 hours. So he might be awake for 45-60 minutes before needing/wanting to nap.
V had really shitty naps today and was super overstimulated because we were at huge family gatherings all day. He was super fussy all evening, and I am dead tired from the walk and dealing with family, and so I was thrilled when he finally went to sleep around 7:45. We can see on the monitor that he rolled onto his stomach, but his head is completely turned to the side and I can see his entire nose and mouth, so I'm not concerned. H, however, keeps freaking out that he's not supposed to sleep on his stomach and wants to keep flipping him back over. I told him that if he does and the baby wakes up, he has to deal with him. Thankfully, he handed the monitor to me and removed himself from the situation. I expect to be up at least 4-5 times again tonight, and I need this time to myself to relax and rewind (and soon, to sleep).
Yeah he shouldn't play the flipping baby game. You could do that all night long! And plus doesn't everyone say it's ok once they can flip to stomach themselves?
LO napped a lot for her grandma and downed three bottles while we were gone (2-8), which of course led to criticism from my mom that she's "not getting enough" (it averages to 3 ounces every two hours, like she always does). We're trying the pack and play again tonight. At least I got a glorious nap in the car?

I already knew the answer to that, but double checked with the ped and she confirmed that he's fine to sleep on his stomach now that he does it himself.
She's become a clingy sleeper this month and we're back to pretty much full time bedsharing (months 2 and 3 she was doing so well in her crib too!), but last night I feel like I might have only gotten up once with her to feed her which was a HUGE improvement on the rest of the month. Fingers crossed here!! She was in bed with me but that's ok. Any sleep is good sleep.
I know I haven't participated in this thread yet buuut when my kids are going through bad sleep phases I deal with it best by just not talking about it and trying not to think about it, lol.
ETA-naps still suck. But she's generally content most of the day so that's good.
went to the wedding last night at 5ish. Got home at 10. We left right after the 1st dance because I had a feeling Ali might be up a lot. I was right. She woke at 12, 130, 230 then up and awake from 330-5 babbling and happy. Then as soon as I got her down DS woke up and then Ali woke up 30 min later after I got DS to go back to sleep. Then DS woke up for the day at 6 and Ali at 7. I am completely wrecked!!! But amazingly having a good Sunday carving pumpkins with DS and then going to a bday party later today. I feel like a crackhead

Last night was a better night. We had our first 5 hour stretch for the first time in a LONG time! Hallelujah! Today was baby dedication at church so there were people that aren't usually there there. My husband would tell them he is a good sleeper when someone would ask. As much as I appreciate his help he clearly does NOT know about the night time since I let him sleep all night. I quickly told him I would be happy to let him have the night shift tonight.

I'm seriously a little happy DB is crying a shit-ton while trying to fall asleep, because for the last week or so whenever he's harder to put down he sleeps longer at night. When he drops right off when I lay him down he's usually up every 2 hours. We'll see if it holds true tonight.

Honestly, I lie about V's sleep to most people. I just don't want to hear their comments about how great their kid sleeps, or how I should be letting him cry. I just want to avoid the judgmental small talk.
I defintily don't correct them until they leave. I just find it so funny bc he honestly thinks he sleeps good.
DD is starting to nap well again so I'm hoping that good night sleeping is not far behind.
She's been asleep 3 hours now and I'm afraid if I go to bed she'll wake up right as I doze off because that's the law or something. I also don't want to be up all night waiting. This is not a fun game.
Yeah but if you wait up he'll sleep another 3 hours! Might as well try to sleep.
We didn't even make it successfully into the pnp tonight - h work her up twice putting her into it so he just gave up and put her in the rnp. Asleep by 8:30 and up at 11! Sigh.

After having a good night Saturday we had an awful night last night. I broke down and cried when he woke up at 2:30. It really wouldn't be so bad if he would stop wanting to play every time he wakes.

We had a much better night, only 1 wake up at midnight. Which is a very strange time for her and usually she'll go back to sleep if we just put her paci back. But it turns out she was actually hungry last night! So she ate and then fell back asleep until I had to wake her for the day. She seems to be switching back and forth from awesome nights to awful nights....I'm expecting fairly shitty sleep tonight in exchange:(

We had a terrible night. She slept for a few hours at first then was up probably ever half hour to an hour. She finally fell asleep for 3 hours but my fucking cat went into heat over the middle of the night.
