Headed to the beach today (yes, the beach in November) to see some friends. Then DS1 has a Birthday party for a school friend tomorrow. Should be a fun weekend.
DH bought some new cheese and we were having some with breakfast, it was really good. He googled it and was reading about it when I asked if he thought the rind was edible. Well he just happened to be reading that this particular cheese is aged with a certain type of mite that eats the outside surface. Breakfast ruined for bigcheese.
DHs best friend and his girlfriend are visiting today. They are really excited to meet Oliver so it should be fun!
Tomorrow we are going over my parents' house to celebrate my birthday (Tuesday the 10th) which I am also looking forward to. My mom makes my favorites - pizza casserole and rainbow chip cake. Yummmm!

So A refused to sleep in her PNP last night. DH was being a man child and saying he felt nauseous etc from lack of sleep. So I took her downstairs, put her in the swing, she was out in five minutes. I slept on the couch, and got the best sleep I've had in weeks. 10pm to 5am, and A didn't wake up until like 7.
Taking her to the ped because I can't tell if her newest incision is getting infected or not. Better safe than sorry.
So pissed. Starting off my weekend tired and pissed. I was going to a just between friends sale today because everything is half off and I wanted a bumbo and a couple more cloth diapers. Glad I got up to make sure dh turned the slow cooker off, because the asshole took all the money out of my wallet. Granted, it was only $20, but still. Wtf. That money was for your kids. I woke him up. I woke him up at 5am and he denied it. Which left me even more pissed. So I've pretty much been up since then. The only bright side is this slow cooker apple cinnamon oatmeal is awesome.
A still fits in one of her preemie sleepers. She weighs 11 effing pounds. I'm calling shenanigans on preemie sizing.
But yay! I get ridiculously excited when her clothes and diapers start getting tight.
He's outgrowing in length. Which is crazy because this wasn't the case last week. I'm So glad I had my parents bring the 3-6 month stuff last week, they had stored it at their house.
In a way, this shouldn't surprise me. Have you seen his brother. Lol
Just soaked Ns adorable "grandma" outfit I had him in. I haven't leaked in weeks until I started steel cut oats this week. Still only pumping 4oz total every 3 hours though.. WTH BOOBS

Yea..N still fits in a couple newborn onsies. The kid is 15lbs...
Mine is only 11pounds and outgrew her newborn stuff long ago!
Yard sale this weekend and I'm selling the stuff she has already outgrown. It's not much (benefit of being team green!) but it's still sad. My big baby!
E is still in size 1 diapers at 15lbs but all of her weight is in her head (literally) so..... Today I was putting 0-3 clothes on her and it's loose on her body but super iffy going off her Hey Arnold head
My H has a training this morning with a Dr from out of town this morning. He is going hunting this afternoon and tomorrow morning. I am going to squeeze in running some kid free errands for our trip next week. I am planning on picking up a manual pump to take, just in case I need it. My research say the Avent manual one is the best. What do you guys think?
pmcd886 do you have another pump too? I like the medela harmony manual pump, partly because all the pieces are interchangeable with my medela pisa. So if you already have one at home I'd check to see if you can get the same brand manual. Just something to think about.
DH and I have been having issues lately, we moved away from all of my family, he works 60-70 hour weeks 6 days a week. I just find that we don't see each other ever and don't really have anything in common lately. So we had a big conversation last week about trying to make more time for us... and tonight we're going BOWLING!!! I love bowling!! haha I'm sooo excited!!

My pump at home is a Spectra. It fits all wide mouth bottles, like Avent.

Haven't been around much this week since I started back to work. I'm exhausted and Mia has decided to start waking up twice a night again instead of once. DS turned five on Wednesday and his birthday party is today! Glad we decided to do it at a gym place bc my house is a disaster! Hope everyone is doing well.
It was 80 and sunny yesterday. Today is in the 60s and rainy. Boo. The rain also means I need to find ways to keep my outdoor-loving toddler entertained. So far there has been a lot of Curious George and snuggling on the couch. I'm okay if that continues most of the day because I'm exhausted. H has had really long days this week (6 a.m. to 10 or 11 p.m.) so it's just me and both kids after putting in my own full day at work. Plus I'm PMS-ing. I think I could nap all day.
