I woke up in a terrible mood! I think the no sleep is finally getting to me. I also think I'm getting sick. NOOOOO. It feels like first trimester energy all over again = none.
I am right there with you! I have been so tired this whole week and my nose is doing the whole stopped up thing again -_- very annoyed. Feel better!!!!
We didn't get in from the Circus until after midnight. I feel like I've been run over today. DD wouldn't even sleep in the car on the way home. Nosy child is always afraid of missing something!
That was me as a child lol always into everyone else's business. My parents would put me to bed and about 5 minutes later would say they wanted an Oreo...I sadly would scream out that I wanted one too. I would then get in trouble for not going to bed lol and no no no to the circus. Deathly afraid of clowns. Ahhhhh
I realized today that one of my biggest pet peeves is when someone calls a magazine (for a gun) a clip. I feel like if you own a gun, you should know what the parts of the gun are called.
Contimplating getting out of bed to make some scones for breakfast, though now I want donuts from all the earlier talk going on, but once again my left hip is absolutely KILLING me. Do I honestly have 3 more months left of this? I feel like I'm 80.
Glad it is not just me! I feel your pain. I am dying. I feel like I am walking around with a corn cob up my butt to compensate for the pain. -_- hoping you feel better soon!
mariisz, Im sorry! I woke up that way yesterday. Coffee and sitting on my ass to do nothing helped
Thanks love! I couldn't stay home I would have gone crazy. Haha. But the coffee definitely helped. SO is out helping his cousin move so I decided to go to breakfast with a friend. Let's just say food makes me happy
I'm a ball of energy and I'm not sure what to do with it! I'm thinking of dragging boyfriend out to walk some flea markets or something, maybe bribing him with frozen yogurt

My randoms.. Oh boy.
My fiancé told me his mom asked what the baby's name is. He told her he didn't know, but I recently posted something with the initial of her first name. I'm like why didn't you just tell her we weren't telling anyone yet? I laughed in his face.
I went to the chiro yesterday. I do feel an improvement, but not just brand new quite yet. I do recommend it if you are having back, neck, hip pain. Just do your research on a reputable one.

Damn, I'm jealous of that view! We live in a lake town, and I love it!
Same exact thing here. I hate the Chicco stroller that goes with the carrier. HATE IT.
This is the travel system DH wants because he likes the way it collapses, but it's so bulky that I can't stand it. I really want the britax b-agile but he doesn't like the way the carrier clips into it so he vetoed it. I'm pretty sure this kid is going to have live at the hospital until he's over car seat age because it seems like we're never going to compromise.
After messing with my sisters Chico system, she ended up never using the stroller because she hated it so much, we went with the Britax b-agile and we have absolutely love it. We still use the stroller with our 2 year old and just got the double stroller recently to use with both kids.

I just devoured some Zaxbys. That also includes the cookies that I was going to share with my family.
After rearranging my living room furniture, I'm about to make the executive decisions that somehow, someway hardwoods are going in. I can't handle the carpet any more. 5 years in our house has been brutal.
I'm surprised there's so many strong dislikes of the Chicco Cortina stroller. I have one and I love it. I feel like it's nice and sturdy and it fits in my Impreza hatchback, easy to open and collapse with one hand. I mostly use it for walks around my neighborhood though, and it pushes nicely on the road (we don't have sidewalks). However I don't have any stairs to carry it up or down, and I usually store it in the garage so taking up space is not a big issue.

I've been looking online at hardwoods today to get some material estimates...now to find someone to do the labor for inexpensive.

I'm hopping on a little later than usual today since DH and I had a super productive morning. We went through and compiled a full list of what we want to register for, using a couple of website lists as a starting point. Now we want to go through and research a few of the big things to decide exactly which one we'd like. All this before stepping into and being overwhelmed by registering in store! I think this'll be a much better approach than how we registered for our wedding.
About the Chicco travel system - I share most of the sentiments here. We tried it out in BBB and I was so not sold on how bulky it was. DH really liked it and it took me awhile to talk him out of it. I really, really wanted the Chicco Keyfit carseat, though. So I was happy to find that Baby Jogger makes a carseat adapter for the City Mini that fits that carseat. That's what we ended up going with.
I hate my cat and I want to punt him off the balcony. Little asshole has been meowing and scratching at my door since 5am because he's used to getting up and getting attention from DH then. C'mon dude, it's Saturday! I just want to sleepp
I her you. My dog gets us up in the middle of the night to pee. When it happens once, well, we're used to it. When it happens TWICE (as has been the case lately) we get really annoyed. When it happens twice AND she is up every hour scratching (herself, the bed, the carpet), licking, pacing around the room, I want to scream! She never settles down until 1-2 hours before we need to wake up.

Oh, I wasn't sure I should bump the Friday Randoms thread but wanted to respond to a couple of people from a post there -
smilz4782 - Thank you for the suggestion about using covers! I'll definitely give that a try. My SIL has very, very strong opinions. Her attitude also tends to be that her view of how things work is how it works for everyone. DH is her only sibling and since he's younger, I think she feels like she's "teaching" him or something. She had her first baby in August and has openly said (on Facebook no less) that she doesn't understand why people say parenting and the whole baby thing is hard. It's been hard not to play the comparison game!
@gfj48 - All of the "mommy wars" and shaming bothers me, too. Being in the position of making some of these hot-topic decisions makes me a lot more empathetic, and I go out of my way not to make my friends/family members who are moms feel guilty about any decisions they've made for their kids. It really does remind me of that formula commercial someone posted the other day - we all want what's best for our kids.
I have 8% left for probing. Meaning, when my iPad dies, I suppose I will get up and tackle my cleaning projects since DH and DD are out of the house for a few hours.
I passed out today DH and I were in the Apple Store, he was trying to get his phone fixed. It was really warm in there and I was standing up playing with a new iPhone. All of a sudden I felt weird and like I need to sit or get air or something. I tapped DH and said "im gonna step out for a minute" and that's pretty much the last thing I remember. I woke up on the floor with DH and two apple guys looking down at me. DH said he caught me and lowered me down, and that my head didn't hit the ground, and I was only out for a few seconds. But man, it was weird. It's happened to me a few times before but that was at least 6 years ago since the last time. I drank water, had a granola bar, then we went and got lunch. I feel fine aside from a bruise on my back from hitting the table, and LO is still moving around in there. Im glad there was no impact and that DH caught me. I was a little scared when I woke up though, it's weird not knowing how you got on the floor. So yeah, definitely a "Saturday random".
My husband is out of town for a conference (Thurs-Sun) so I got a baby sitter this morning- went to Zumba, Target, then Starbucks. I seriously feel like a new woman after 2 hours of "me time".
I had planned to go bra shopping while dh took DS to karate. Instead I watched two shows on TLC, washed the dishes, and took a very long shower. Oh, and spent a lot of time probing.
I'm just now about to head out and they should be home any minute now. I guess I got some extra "me" time. I think I'll make an afternoon of it. Target, Kohl's, BRU, Motherhood Maternity, and maybe a cheeseburger from Five Guys.
that sounds like an excellent idea.
Target just got me again! But now we are making pizza tonight because the girls and I bought all the fixin's DH is going to be working late so I wanted something easy

I'm so pissed at myself. I was eyeing a baby blanket on Pottery Barn and finally decided to just buy it today. Well it's no longer on sale and I can't justify spending $39 on a blanket he doesn't even need (I already made him 3, bought 3 swaddle blankets, and have receiving blankets from DD). It is so cute though.
pottery barn (and all their sister stores) are the devil, everything is so cute but I can't justify ANYTHING
