Oh my but I do seem to be up in the middle of the night a lot lately. Wondering if I'll get a decent night's sleep before the kids head off to college.
DS does not want to go back to sleep, so he's yanking on his hair every time he starts to drift. Been up for an hour. Uuuugh!
@nevertoomanyshoes I feel your pain. I put tinfoil on our countertops every night to keep that little furry jerk from getting all over our food surfaces. I'm not a huge germaphobe, but those little paws spend too much time in the litter box to feel comfortable with them prancing all over the butcher block.

My sister and I were shopping yesterday & I just couldn't believe how rude so many people were to me. After one particularly rude woman that refused to move her cart over far enough for my belly to squeeze through & me saying some choice words to her we came up wirh the idea for a great TV show "when pregnant women attack." It's like bridezillas except the majority of it would be pregnant girls pointing out what assholes the general public is.
I woke up out of the blue at 6. Grrrr. I'll probably fall back asleep just as my 14m old is waking up. My dog is also sleeping next to me on the floor she needs a bath and is adding some smelly farts to the mix. Eewww

DD woke up at 5:30 because she has a molar working its way through. She did snuggle in her bed with me for awhile which we don't have time for in the morning during the week, so not all bad! Happy Saturday!

We didn't get in from the Circus until after midnight. I feel like I've been run over today. DD wouldn't even sleep in the car on the way home. Nosy child is always afraid of missing something!
DH and I have not been seeing eye to eye these past few days and my mom is here for the weekend. He's just being an ass, doing shit that makes no sense. Things that if I did them while his mom was visiting - he'd have a fit over. I just want to punch him. Besides this, my mom is watching DD today so we can go pick tile and other crap for our bathroom remodel. Usually that shit is exciting to me and it would be nice for us to spend the day alone together, but I am so not looking forward to it. He likes to do the awkward silence shit until I bring up why I'm angry. I'm just way too annoyed to even look at him right now, much less spend an entire day. My mom also offered to watch DD thru the evening so that we could go out on date if we'd like, I wish I was in a better mood!
@nevertoomanyshoes that is too cute. I think your cat thinks all the new stuff is for him/her. Probably confused as to why you're buy it stuff then taking it away. Lol

I'm liking this to offer my sympathies not because I'm giving a thumbs up to your hubs acting like a man child. Just to clarify.
amelandre - I'm right there with you with being up in the middle of the night!!
@nevertoomanyshoes - Aldi (not sure if they're in your area) used to carry a gluten free Oreo and they tasted like the real thing!! It was amazing.
@gfj48 - a mani/pedi sounds so amazing right now. Have fun!
My random: I'm sitting at my glucose test waiting for the hour to be up. I had no idea you had 4 minutes to down the whole thing?? On the bright side it wasn't bad, they gave me orange... Tasted like orange flavored pop until I was towards the end of it... Then it was unbearable...
Me too. I saw "An Apology to Elephants" on HBO a few months ago, it was so heartbreaking. It changed my perspective. I figured the animals were mistreated but I didn't know to what extent. Next time I even go to the zoo, I will do research first on how their animals are treated.

He is totally a man child lately! He put DD to bed the other night and then woke with her (great, right?)... Well not until I see that she is wearing the same damn clothes she played in the previous day! He never washed her up and put her pjs on! I told him to skip a bath but seriously? Are you in college?

Honestly, since I haven't been to a circus in years, there were not even a lot of animals. Out of the almost 3 hours, I think maybe 30 minutes featured animals. The rest was acrobatics, gymnasts and other entertainment.

Did they just have elephants or tigers or something? Maybe they are cutting down on time with them now since so many people protest. I haven't been since I was a kid.
I woke up in a terrible mood! I think the no sleep is finally getting to me. I also think I'm getting sick. NOOOOO. It feels like first trimester energy all over again = none.
I woke up much better today. Thanks to all the ladies that helped me out with suggestions as to what was wrong; it was my blood pressure. I ended up having to go home early from work yesterday, and are, hydrated, then slept. I hope today is much better.
mariisz, Im sorry! I woke up that way yesterday. Coffee and sitting on my ass to do nothing helped
My in-laws are on their way here today! We haven't seen them since daughter's birthday party in July, and I'm so excited! Also, SOs job (well not anymore...) had this program where they earned points for getting good surveys. Then they could go on this website and trade the points in for what we've they want. He has saved every point he's earned since he started that job, and had enough to order an electric guitar starter set. He's so excited about it! And I'm totally fine with it because that means he will have a hobby and won't spend as much time on his XBOX

DD sleeps in her clothes many nights a week... She hates pajamas.
He saw her eating her dinner in these clothes and she is definitely not a clean eater. She also knows the whole bedtime routine thing and doesn't fight pjs (at least for now). Just one of those "you had one job" things.
Question: I know the BRU trade-in event ends Feb 21. But do you need to use the 25% off coupon by that date or just bring the old item in by then?
DH doesn't want to buy some of the stuff until the baby is here. At first that irritated me but then I remember he was the one returning a few big-ticket items when DS1 died while I just sat on the couch crying as he and my mom carried them out of our apartment.
I was just there yesterday and did a trade, you have to use the 25%off by Feb 21.
I cried myself to sleep last night and I am wondering if that's pregnancy hormones or normal emotions. DS had his last day at daycare yesterday and starts preschool on Monday. Saying goodbye was tough for me. One of the daycare workers gave me a gift of a framed photo of my son in a little graduation gown and I cried and cried all night every time I looked at it. I am happy he is growing up but I never imagined it would be so dang hard. I am hoping it's the pregnancy hormones.
Add me to the bad night for sleep list. DD was up crying for no reason so we tried snuggling in her big girl bed which consisted of me laying with my eyes closed and her crawling all over me and whispering. So yes, I'm tired.

It's not. My eldest is six and whenever he hits a milestone I cry. It's something you may never shake. I cry at the most unnecessary times when I realize I have a big boy and not my baby boy anymore. Same for DS2.
