I am pumping one last time before I join out company and have my whiskey and coke. Thanks to snomaggedon most of our guests cancelled and I had to shovel out one of my friends because our street has not been plowed today. On top of that DD has been a donkey all day. All the whiskey for mamma
Ahhh... Guise, h has a really good friend of his over with his wife and three of their 4 kids. I was excited to meet them (they just moved back into the state from across the country) well wife didnt seem to excited to meet me or talk. Now I am in my room pumping and she is taking selfies with my baby and putting them all over FB! I feel creeped out right now :/

It's a freaking blizzard here so we scrapped our plans and now my mom, DS and I are stuck in the back room while my brother and his weird friends take over the rest of the house. And there's no wine. Boo.

That's really annoying, did she at least ask before putting the pics up?
Oh my god guise! My toddler just hit Kasey. I couldn't believe it.
How old is he? Our friends toddler is at an age where she either hugs DD or hits her and attempts a choke hold. No real warning on which it's going to be. Maybe it is a stage they go through?

Heading out to BIL's for the game. DH forgot to eat lunch today so we have to stop and get him a buffalo chicken wrap to eat in the car even though we're going to a Superbowl party where there'll be tons of food. Whatever, at least he offered to get me chocolate milk.

Noah is being very strange today. He's fussing way more than usual and crying at the breast. I had to dangle feed earlier to get him to eat and the walk with him to get him to keep eating. Sometimes he doesn't know whether he's happy or upset. He is laughing and fussing at the same time.
Dd is acting the same way. I'm wondering if she's either teething or has an ear infection. I hope it's not an ear infection.
I have to catch up, but guess who just woke up after a sex dream about Jim Parsons (Sheldon from Big Bang Theory)? This girl. And I don't even find him attractive.
I do. FFSC: I would totally hit that if he were straight and I were single. I like nerds.

Why men shouldn't plan things: Exhibit A
Two weeks ago, H said "C is having a party for the Super Bowl." We've been talking about it since. This morning I asked what, other than our drinks, we needed to bring. H said he would find out. At 2:00 today H texts C to see what time everyone is getting there. C says he never heard back from anyone so he didn't make plans. So now we're home 30 minutes before game time with nothing for dinner. I just sent H to the store. Godspeed.
Today is one of those days where I really hate DH's work schedule (1pm-11pm on weekends). I just feel really lonely, especially since Noah is having a fussy day. Pity Party...table for 1.
Creep Internet stranger hugs. I totally get that feeling.

We are now on our way to dh's friends house for the game...earlier than his friend was planning bc both men thought the game started an hour later than it does. But my use of FB told me the right time.
Omg. DH just told me the craziest office story ever. I am dying at the sheer stupid. And drama.
Here's the story: Carl is dating Anita, she announced in the office that she is pregnant and Carl is the dad. Fran hears the announcement and hides in the bathroom crying for an hour...because apparently she's also been sleeping with Carl and just found out she is also pregnant. Fran and Anita work in the same dept, Carl works in another department and my husband works in yet another department.
Apparently, the department the two women work in has now divided into factions. When their director discovered this, she lined them up in the corridor for a team meeting and told them if they can't figure out how to work cooperatively then they could leave...
My response was: WTAF? Birth control??
I mean, I'm still dumbfounded by this story.
This is a juicy story, but sounds like it could be on Jerry Springer or Maury!

Ummm. The fuck? Nice to meet you too lady. I'd be annoyed. Sorry she turned out to be shitty! Maybe she's just not good with adults?!? Hope it gets better!
I'm finally caught up! Haven't caught up in 2 days due to ss Bday party. My baby is still a donkey, so solidarity to all you tired mamas. Hugs to those who need em and healthy vibes for the sick ones. My LO is 4 months on tues and she still hasn't rolled. And for the rest I was generous with the love tits!
Just went to check out an in-home daycare. It's only 5 minutes from my house, the lady who runs it seemed very nice and well prepared but DS would be her first baby. She had answers for all of my questions and has obviously thought through how she will run her daycare, she's worked in daycare previously and is fully licensed through the state, but she hasn't picked up any families yet. For the time being, DS would be the only child there -- so 1-on-1 care for daycare prices. The price is great -- nearly $500 less than what we pay at our current, larger center (that is 30 min from home/ 40 from work). I'm hesitant bc I can't get any feedback from other families, but also feel like this could be a great option. Opinions are welcome. TIA!
