No worries Do you do fresh or salt water? I had a ton of goldfish growing up and had a chance to have a salt water tank for a few years when my dad's colleague retired overseas and couldn't bring it back with him. We thought it was going to take a lot of work but it wasn't bad!
That's a fun way to get into saltwater tanks! Mine is salt. 200 gallons, that I custom designed for the main room in our "forever" house. Sadly we sold that house 3 years ago. At least the tank fits in the new house, although it no longer matches the kitchen cabinetry.
Custom designed?! That sounds amazing!!! (Pics of you get a chance )
I'm back from my appointment, everything looks good and they released me to my OB/gyn who I called and they set me up with an appointment tomorrow! Thanks for all the well-wishes!

I am struggling today. Everything smells and is making me gag. And I am so cold and tired. Poor DS2 is trying to play with me and I am trying, honest.
I'm so sorry - smelling issues are the worst. Is there anything that would alleviate that for you, even temporarily? I've had my Vicks inhaler and vaporub at the ready during many occasions here recently

That's a good idea. Vick's under the nose would mask other smells and possibly loosen my stuffy nose (yes I have both a stuffy nose and super smell). Thanks for the idea!

I'm sorry you are struggling today, dc2london. I never understood the whole super nose thing. I didn't have it for the first two. I totally get it now. I hope you get out of this funk soon.

What's really strange is that i have super nose even when not pregnant. It just gets really crazy when I am. Bonus is, when not pg, I am good at wine tasting!
I'm sorry for the shitty day dc2london! steph I felt that way last night. No nausea in the evening for some reason and couldn't get enough to eat but back to nausea today

It really does help - even though MH says I smell like an old lady LOL!!!!!
Ooh I love new cars. What did you get? We are having a car dilemma of our own. We have a forester and a tiny car. Tiny car is not going to fit two car seats in the back. Every day we're back and forth between new suv or minivan. And what if we decide to have a third? Goodness, it's a struggle.
We got a Ford Edge. We're pretty excited about it. We upgraded from the smallest class SUV there is. We debated going the minivan route too, but this is a better fit for us. We also have a tiny car, but we're running it into the ground because H only uses it to commute to and from work and it should last us another 5 years or so. And we'll probably replace it with the new version of the same thing - can't beat 35 mpg on average! We also got a good deal on the Edge. I'm quite the negotiator. What vehicles are you considering?
We're considering minivan, bigger car, or just waiting until we for sure are having #3 before upgrading. Good for you on the negotiating! I kind of love that process.
I'm back from my appt as well. One baby measuring 2 days ahead with a strong heartbeat. Phew. I am SO relieved. I haven't been that nervous in a long time.
On another note - lately the sight of things (not food) is making me nauseated. For example, I saw a hair on the sink at the OB office and I instantly gagged and wanted to throw up. So weird.
3 hours. 3 hours dude. My kid cried for three hours before falling asleep for his nap. I bounced. I rocked. I left him alone. I patted his back. He was fed. He had a clean diaper. He finally fell asleep in his crib sitting up.

My appt went well. Did not get another scan . But they did bloodwork, urine, and gyno exam. I'm scheduled for a scan on 01/27. Its crazy to me that i wont have my second scan until 11 weeks. I guess its just because my RE releases early. Ugh. Anxiety!!
Is anyone doing the marterniT21 testing? I'm unsure if I want to do it or not (tests for different chromosomal abnormalities through my blood).
