SOs mom has been complaining I don't eat enough. We are trying to shrug it off And say it's cause I'm trying to lose weight. SO has bad PAIF brain and doesn't want to tell anyone until 2nd tri. He even asked when Next dr appointment is because I think he wants to know how soon he could tell her it's morning sickness preventing me from eating.

dorkusmalorkus, That's a totally ok thing to be upset about. I work in early intervention and often feel like some kids qualify because they're having an off or because it's just not something they've been exposed to before. The tests are looking for very specific things. ((HUGS)) It's ok to be upset about it. We deal with tears a lot.
Me (30) MH (32) Dx: MFI (low all the things) M. 10/11. TTC Since 01/14 IUI#1-3(Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN Second Opinion. Changed RE's. IVF 09/15 Long Lupron 12R/9M/8F, Transferred 1=BFN. 4 frosties. FET #1 12/15 Transferred 1 (3 still on ice)
OH also, if you have a Doppler, what kind is it and where did you get it? Is it worth getting one?
I have the Sonoline B doppler. It tends to be one of the most popular (from what I've read) and I really like it. I've used it for all three pregnancies.
The only issue with getting one vs. not.. is if it will stress you out. I have high anxiety, but for whatever reason I've always been calm about not finding it in early pregnancy.
I couldn't find DD1's heartbeat until 14 weeks (turned out I had an anterior placenta) and I actually wasn't freaked out (which is surprising for me).
The only other caution I have is to pay more attention to movement instead of heartbeat when you are further along. It's easy to feel reassured with the doppler if you are feeling less movement, but you should always always call your doctor if movement changes even if you hear a strong heartbeat.
I also recommend the Sonoline B. I used it for when I was pregnant with DD. I was lucky and found her heartbeat at 9 weeks. I watched a ton of YouTube videos on how to find the heartbeat before I tried it. The videos helped me locate it

remylove1011 Thanks That makes me feel a lot better. (As an aside, after teaching high school and then elementary SpEd, I think early intervention would be especially rewarding, and right up my alley. I wish I'd gotten certified to do EI.)
