Just getting caught up today. DD threw my phone and shattered my screen. The brand new phone I had just bought because she broke the last one. And we have no money for me to fix it. Ugh.

I'm a little late to the car talk party, but: We just bought a minivan last month and I love it. I always said I would NEVER do a van, but logic finally won out. We got a Chrysler Town and Country and I'm kind of obsessed with it. Folding the seats completely flat into the floor is awesome. it's seriously the best.
Oh, but she's been a cranky mess for a couple days now because she's been constipated but she apparently got it out and is feeling much better now! Lol

I couldn't do a mini van. Ever. I have a mustang. My sexy 'stangs engine is twice as big as the little lawnmower in dhs car lol. We recently got a safety 1St snug ride 65 or something like that for DD and thankfully I can squeeze it behind my seat and still rf her.
I left DH in charge and crawled into bed. I was super super hungry around 5:10, but really wanted avocados. By the time I got them at about 6:30, I felt super nauseous with a bad headache.
I miss my topamax (migraine meds). My doc said it was okay to keep taking them if I wanted but a friends doc told her to stop so I got nervous and stopped before we started TTC.

liljackjack it's terrible!! The nurses at my RE were amazing and always got me onbthe first try. Everywhere else it usually takes 2 and lots of digging around in there. Hopefully your office can easily get blood.
theophania. Yeah she seemed very confused by the concept of IVF and that I could say the exact day I conceived.
Me (30) MH (32) Dx: MFI (low all the things) M. 10/11. TTC Since 01/14 IUI#1-3(Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN Second Opinion. Changed RE's. IVF 09/15 Long Lupron 12R/9M/8F, Transferred 1=BFN. 4 frosties. FET #1 12/15 Transferred 1 (3 still on ice)
They can never find my veins when they take blood. It's awful. Mine are tiny and they roll. There's one nurse that can get it the first time nearly every time. I like it when she's there.

Love the Mustang. It is such a wonderful car, but in a Northern winter I will take my 4 wheel drive over rear wheel drive hahaha!

That's understandable! Haha. We don't have to worry about that in Florida.
Oh, is anyone taking Diphenhydramine aka benedryl? I realized tonight I grabbed the wrong unisom and it is Diphenhydramine. Of course, now I'm panicked.

Benadryl is on my list of medications that I can take from my OB. I think it's one of the "safe" ones.

What's really strange is that i have super nose even when not pregnant. It just gets really crazy when I am. Bonus is, when not pg, I am good at wine tasting!
Hah, this is me, too!
I had to ride the subway to my dentist appt today, and let me tell you, I never *like* the way the subway smells, but today was...special.
Gag! When I was in grad school and took the bus, I'd compulsively play What's That Smell. And the smell was primarily that of regret. And BO. Blech!!!
Ok... bear with my vent over the stupid staff at my OB's office today. Loved the OB and his one nurse. Not so much of fan of the others.
The nurse comes to get me from he waiting room and does all the basic stuff (weight, height, urine sample, bp, etc.). She then asks me what my last menstrual period was.... I explain we did IVF and I have no idea, but I can give her my transfer date. She ignore me, looks in the computer and says based on my chart from RE it was November blah blah and my due date is 08/24. Umm, no it's not. I didn't even bother correcting her at that point she clearly was ignoring what I said. My meds list was blowing her mind.
Then I have to wait 30 minutes of bloodwork nurse to get back from her lunch (wtf?). When she does get back she has to poke me twice. I'm a hard stick and warmed her of this (deep veins that like to roll away regardless of how hydrated I am). She then basically says I better pass my glucose on the first try because she's never going to be able to draw me as many times as required for the longer test. Seriously? I'm sorry you're bad at your job.
Wtf. I was at the PCP the other day & they got all confused about IVF too. I've already figured out what lmp goes with my due date so I'm just using that from now on. I also got raised eyebrows from my long list of meds from IVF. The nurse was blown away. And she seemed concerned I was taking hormone supplements. Sigh
Someone asked a few pages back about Matarni21 & NT scan. I'm hoping to do both if insurance allows. Not sure if they will because I'm not AMA. If not I may do just NT scan

remylove1011 My ob is in the minority I think, but her thing is always: what would you do if the test results were not great? In my first pregnancy, I leaned toward the testing (but ultimately decided against it), because I wanted to read up on Down Syndrome, etc. beforehand if that was the probable outcome. One thing she mentioned is that if you find out bad news, it can take away from some of the excitement of having a baby; the pregnancy can get overshadowed by whatever the test result is. But that's her generally--she's pretty "roll with it until/unless a problem presents itself, and then deal with that. Like a boss."

This was our previous OB as well. We ended up not testing.

katelm glad I'm not the only one getting weird looks about all the meds. I cannot be their first ivf patient. My RE is the one that did the freakin referral. And it was me that asked about the testing. It was mentioned today as an option on my end of month scan.
dorkusmalorkus my OB basically said they have to talk about it as an option, but since I'm not AMA the chances are lower and my insurance probably won't cover it. MH and I took some time to discuss it and I think we're not going to do it.

remylove1011 that nurse sounds like she is either an idiot or not well trained. Sorry you had to deal with that. And T and Ps for your veins!
Sorry for everyone who feels sick today.
I have been on the fence about quitting work to sahm. My husband was gone for maybe an hour tonight and I snapped at the kids twice. Maybe I shouldn't stay home full time:(
In other news, I'm absolutely exhausted which is preventing me from freaking about tomorrow's appointment. Good luck to all the ladies with appointments tomorrow!

I feel like I just come on here and vent every evening, buuuut.... My kids (3 & 5) had this assessment through our local school district today. I have a masters degree in special ed, so i *know* the limitations of standardized tests, but they still manage to send me into a tizzy. My 5-year old daughter passed everything with flying colors, is chatty and delightful, etc. My 3-year old is behind on several things (gross & fine motor, counting, letters, articulation, self-help....). I held it together until I got to the car, but have had several hormonal cries since. It's not a big deal; he knows tons of things they didn't ask him about. He just needs more practice on the things he's behind on. But man, it just stinks to hear he's behind on things. Plus the guilt.
