I get ticked when people make statements like I judge people who do xyz EXCEPT when blah blah blah. How do you know they aren't a part of the exception you created? And if you continue to create more and more exceptions, what I hear is "I know this judgement makes me an asshole so I'm going to try to appear less asshole-ish."

If you are going to judge someone or something, commit to it.

UO (maybe?): solids food poop is so much better than all breastmilk poop. It's just way easier to clean up.

I don't mind late nights for this reason. I love being able to get into my bed and watch whatever I want. When dhs back was out he slept a couple nights on the floor. Emma slept with him. It was amazing having the king bed to myself and the baby.

Don't take offense. I did a clean out of my friends list and took out anyone I don't actually know IRL. Parenting got me all sorts of twitchy about privacy.

I'm so tired of seeing pregnant people on Facebook. I know this is 1000% an issue with me, and I'm legit happy for them, but I don't want to see pics of big bellies at baby showers and debates on skin to skin or delayed clamping, and I can't look at their smiling happy announcements, knowing that I was in the their shoes about this time last year and then four months later I was in the hospital having a baby that I wasn't even sure was going to make it.

I know I can't expect anyone to not get KU or post anything about babies, but I think I currently have ten friends who are pregnant. Block, block. Block.
