Up. Another 3hr stretch. Little guy is nothing but consistent at least. I woke DH up to change his diaper because why should I have to do middle of the night stuff 7 days a week and he get to sleep through the night.
Carley is going 3.5 hours at night between feedings. After DS who never went more than 2 hours for months I feel like I hit the baby jackpot!
US too! I have to wake her pretty much every time too, so I know she would sleep longer but I néed to make sure she hits her birth weight by her 2 week appointment.
What do you ladies call your squishes? Such as nicknames and terms of endearment, etc.
MH calls her "baby girl", which is super cute. I've started calling her "chick" because she makes these noises in her sleep that sound exactly like a chicken. Otherwise just V, first letter of her name.
Noodle, squirms, peanut. Also definitely sometimes call her monkey which is what I call H, and I've heard H call her babe-o which is what he calls me. Also sometimes I call her girlfriend when she is fussy, idk where that came from, H thinks it's hilarious though.

The next time somebody tells me to sleep when the baby sleeps I will throat punch them. We have been trying to "put him down" for a nap for over an hour. As soon as you set him down, BAM, screaming.

I've learned you typically have to wait 10-20 minutes after they've fallen asleep to put them down when they're in a deeper sleep. I get impatient but it has helped. If I wait then I can lay him down and swaddle him with no problem.

I wish this worked for us. I have tried on multiple occasions but it has worked zero times. At least he'll sleep by himself at night.

Up. 3rd time being awake but the other times I nursed laying down and we both pretty much slept. I wish I could nurse laying down better on my left side. My right it's perfect. Baby can breathe and latch is good. Left side I have to smoosh my boob the whole time so he can breath and I can tell the latch isn't great. Also I hate motn diaper changes. Hate them!!
