Up pumping off the rest of what LO didnt eat so I can go back to sleep. Hoping for at least two more hours of sleep before getting up for the day. Up doesn't mean productive right?

Wow that is dedication. Pumping in the middle of the night is no bueno!
The 3 week growth spurt is going to kill me. I think I got 90 minutes where she wasn't latched on all night. DH held her for that time. This is torture.
Up. 3rd time being awake but the other times I nursed laying down and we both pretty much slept. I wish I could nurse laying down better on my left side. My right it's perfect. Baby can breathe and latch is good. Left side I have to smoosh my boob the whole time so he can breath and I can tell the latch isn't great. Also I hate motn diaper changes. Hate them!!
That's funny, I have the exact same problem but in reverse. Got the left side down but right side is a trainwreck.

Is this a thing? Because holy effing shit that explains a lot for my 3 weeker.
It's amazing what sleep deprivation can do to a person lol.

It's a thing. There's another one at around 6 weeks too. I'm already dreading it.
After 2 or 3 (I can't remember) nights of pretty much no sleep at all, last night was finally better. I thinks we've made it through the three week growth spurt! She slept 9:30-12:15 then 12:45-4 and one last 5-6:30. I feel like a new person. There is hope of surviving the torture!
Ok, so the constant waking up in a pile of sweat thing can go fuck itself. So tired of having to change clothes in the MOTN!
I *think* I'm over the night sweats and DD will be one month old on Sunday. So... hang in there?
Then again, I could be drenched in sweat again tonight. You never know.
I'm up in a pile of sweat, but am freezing and shaking. I just sat in the shower for 30 minutes or so. Is this what you guys had/ are having or am I possibly getting sick?

Have you taken your temperature? Do your boobs hurt? Sounds like it could be mastitis feel better!!

Hmmm I was just sweating and feeling overheated, not cold or shaking. Take your temperature for sure.

I took my temperature and didn't have a fever. I'm feeling better now- still kind of off. We had newborn pictures yesterday so I think I overdid it organizing the house and doing all that.
You'd not been a good night. And worse I knew it wasn't going to be earlier bc LO just did not eat enough today with all our visitors. Please eat more and go to sleep!!!

Joining the night owls now. We are home and it is our first night. Isaac has daycare in the morning, DH is home this week to help. I forgot how bad the PP cramping is with nursing. Also the hunger lol. I remembered to atleast stock up on one handed snacks.
Jw... Anyone's LO have a fairly predictable night time routine yet? We still have some bad nights (like last one) but most nights she is only up twice. I feed her around 9 and then we both go sleep and then up around 7 for the day. Each wake up takes about an hour to feed, change her and get her back settled in. I usually wake H up for the first one to help and do the second one myself. I am feeling really lucky with this!
When are you supposed to start a bedtime and a bedtime routine, etc? Eventually she will need to go to bed before us, right?

So I am sitting on the couch and hear DS crying from our room and go in to find him covered in poop. He had a massive blowout. Cue me and DH running a bath and doing a huge load of laundry. I think it might be a stomach bug. Praying that's not the case.
