6 to 7 ish. We go up to bed at 8 or 8:30. Get him ready for bed. Change out lights which tells him it's bed time. Projector, sound machine, fan, and I usually have a movie going on my phone. He is out within an hour usually.
Nap times still vary day to day. The last couple of days his last nap has ended around 5. I usually get him in his pjs around 6:30 and he's out by 7. There are times though when he's snoozed from 5:30 - 6:30 and he still goes to sleep by 7:15. He really likes bedtime.
Usually her last nap is around 5-6 and she goes to bed at 7-730.
My child was sleeping 8+ hour stretches but for the last couple of weeks she's been up every 1-2 hours. I feel like a zombie and I swear the lack of sleep makes me depressed. I want my good sleeping baby back and I'm afraid this is our new normal. My first child was a horrible sleeper.

Evening naps are hit or miss around here. I aim for a nap around 5, with bedtime routine starting around 7, bed by 7:45-8:00. Sometimes he just doesn't want to nap then so we skip it and try to run out the clock before he gets too fussy.
Sounds like most of us have a late nap for now. I'm not going to worry about it.
H tends to want to try and "fix" sleeping issues. He is convinced he is sleeping too much during the day, and I totally disagree. B doesn't have a problem going to sleep or being awake MOTN. He just....constantly wakes up. Can't fix that yet H, sorry.
melody330 flint doesn't really nap but when he does it's done by 3pm at the latest. We start getting him read for bed around 7. Usually 8 by the time he's down.
That being said, he hasn't slept the past three nights and tonight is looking like another night of "dead asleep until put in PNP then wide awake and crying"
I am still amazed that there are people whose kids are sleeping through the night lol why can't my kid do that?
Don't worry. My kid has never slept through the night. And I'd say babies regularly (key word regularly) sleeping through the night at this age is the exception, not the norm.
Irene takes 3-4 naps a day. Sometimes her last nap of the day is around preschool pickup (3:30-4:30) but most days she catnaps for ~20 minutes sometime around 6:30. Bedtime is between 7:30-8 here.
Shoot, we still don't even have a bedtime here. DD1 had a self-imposed bedtime at 8 weeks, but this kid is so different.
Bedtime has been anywhere from 8:30-10:30 in the past couple weeks. Naps are still all over the place. Yesterday she took 4 25-min naps all day, despite being held. Today she passed out multiple times with no effort, and slept for 3 hours this afternoon and would not wake up. I got tired of waiting for her to wake so I buckled her into the car seat and went to Trader Joes, shopped, came home, unloaded and made dinner and she didn't flinch the entire time.
But she still needs and evening nap or else she'll just dissolve into screams. So depending on when she naps, I'll try to wake her up and keep her up at least an hour before bed.
I wish we had a better routine but I feel like it'll slowly fall into place. Despite the nap chaos, nighttime is going well and is not affected by evening naps.
Per this chart www.mybabysleepguide.com/2013/02/average-sleep-charts-by-age.html?m=1 Average wake stretches at this age are only 1-1.5 hours. IMO that might be a little low, but it's in the ballpark. If you're aiming for a 7:30 bedtime, it's totally reasonable for him to nap til 5:30.

I don't really track how long or when naps are but I know she goes to bed for the night between 7-8pm. Many times we'll wake her up at 11:30 to top her off with formula and then she'll sleep to between 5-6am. I try to stick to the eat play nap schedule during the day and find that she's naturally doing that on her own.
His last nap is never consistent because he is terrible at napping. He's always asleep by 11, if not 10:30. Most if the time he then sleeps til between 4 and 5, so I'm not complaining about that. Recently though he's been all over the map with sleep but he might be over that hurdle now.
My baby seems like such a night owl in comparison to the other babies in this thread!

willow L is a night owl too. Tonight he went to bed at 10:45pm. He's now giving me 8-9 hour stretches at night on the regular, but his naps are shitty and sporadic and he's in bed way too late for my liking. Hence me being awake at midnight still just to have some alone time.
I am so playing the daylight savings fall back to my advantage when it comes around! Although that will probably mean early wake ups.
willow some babies really are night owls! DD1 had a 10:30ish bedtime until like 4 months. This one has just naturally had a bedtime of 8 since about 4 weeks old. We're not doing anything differently so it's just the way they are.
I am awake because DH dropped his iPad on the floor at 2am. I yelled at him that I would be up now and he said no go to sleep. Guess who has been snoring for 45 minutes and who has been up since he dropped it? The baby is making some noise now too so I feel like as soon as I drift off she's going to be up. So angry right now.

In the same way. H accidentally hit a video on his phone the other night and the sound was blaring and woke me up. I was furious and h was all "don't be dramatic, it was an accident! Just close your eyes." I was up for 1.5 hours. I have terrible anxiety about falling back asleep. If H falls asleep before me and starts snoring, I'm done. Can't sleep.
We thought E was doing well with his acid reflux so we dropped the morning dose of Zantac and then the evening one. Huge mistake. His first stretch was 1.5 hours, but he's been up since 10 (it's now 1) screaming and fussing. He seems like he's in so much pain. I feel so badly for him, but I'm also exhausted. Will be picking up a refill tomorrow.

Oh no what dose is he on? H and I were Just talking about when to do this. I'm going to wait until 5 months if we don't need to up the dose again. He gets 2mL twice a day now
B actually slept well! Only up at 12:45, 3 and 6:30(now). Except our power went out at 1:15....and they both sleep with white noise. As soon as it kicked off DS1 woke up crying, and his night light was off so he was sad about that too. Then I could t fall back asleep since their video monitors weren't on.
A had an ok night. I went to bed with a scratchy throats and woke up with a full on sore throat. So I probably picked it up from him. H has been using the nose frida on him but I feel like we aren't doing it right because I can still hear a lot of congestion even after sucking out as much as possible. Any vets have any tips?

Make sure you rotate the tip in his nose. Don't suck too hard or you can cause swelling inside there.
melody330 we were prescribed it when he was 2 weeks old so he's always had 1 mL He was doing fine which is why we dropped the morning. And he continued to be fine at night, and since he weighs probably around 13 lbs, I assumed 1 mL was doing nothing so we dropped it. But the past 2 nights have been rough which is when we stopped the meds so I feel like it has to be related. But I'll prob call his ped to see what dose he needs if things don't improve w 1 mL.
Ugh he is such high maintenance compared to his brother at this age. I can only hope he will be a dream 3 year old unlike his big bro!

Are you using saline spray before hand?
Thanks! Yes, 2 drops per nostril, then letting it settle for 2 min to loosen it up.
R passed out at 8:15 and woke up at 1 and 4, I have to get up at 6:30. Her best chunk of sleep is still 5 hours, so an 8:15 bed time sucks because I only got 2.5 hours before the first wakeup. I dont mean to complain because this is way better than every 2 hours, but don't know what to do with this kid. DD1 had a 7 pm bedtime at this age but she slept 8-12 hours. This kid will not dream feed either, she basically refuses to nurse unless it's her idea.
