J and I are heading to a bday party at a friend's house from his old school and MH and N are staying home. Supposed to ice later, so staying in for the rest of the day.
lfigge good luck. Last weekend T started using the potty on his own after several failed attempts at me trying. Kid likes to go alone and won't wear underwear but keeps his pull up dry. He wouldn't go at the sitters but held it all day which may become an issue.
Today is my cousin's wedding. At my own wedding, I was so calm and happy and did not cry at all. I feel like I'm going to cry today. I was 9 when this cousin was born and I remember the first time I held him. The girl he's marrying was his date to my wedding when they were 16. I love her. T keeps walking around saying "I'm going to wear a tie and shake my booty."

I'm up and currently have no plans for today. I need to do some cleaning around the house and we might go to the mall later because I need some new shoes for work.
Morning! The kids could not have been better in the car yesterday and both slept really well last night. My 2-day long headache also seems to be easing up.
We're going to visit my H's grandmother in a bit and then will have lunch at a greasy spoon-type place he loves.
My sister is actually here this weekend because BIL is doing a rotation at a hospital here for a couple months. So we're having dinner and drinks with them tonight while my ILs babysit.
Morning! I am home from running group and showered, waiting on the boys getting back from ice skating so we can head to the barbershop. Both boys have crazy hair.
Nothing else really planned this weekend. It's a beautiful thing.
Sunny41 - So far, so good. The lesson is 1/2 hour but they let them hangout afterwards and use those bars for balance. He seemed to like that independence.

We're finishing up at the gym. I was debating between taking the boy ice skating or going into the city and hitting up the museum of natural history. I think we're going to do the museum and dinner in the city today and ice skating tomorrow.
We are on the way to buy paint for the basement. I hope I do a better job of picking this time, lol. Then home for lunch/nap. Plans this evening are up in the air. We are invited to go to a diaper keg but I also want to go out to eat.

M is definitely my kid. He loves lounging around the house in his pajamas. He never wants to take them off. Yesterday, I was trying to put clothes on him so we could go out to eat, and he's on repeat with the whining that he wants to put on pajamas, he doesn't want to go-go! Sorry kid, momma's hungry and we have no food to eat. Got to go. Before we left the restaurant, he asked me if we were going home to put on his pajamas. Now today, he is still in his PJs and refusing to put clothes on, even though its just soft pants and a shirt. I feel ya kid. I love my PJs too, but we can't run around outside in them. Sorry.
My kids are driving me crazy. We have no where to go so everyone has cabin fever. I think one of my friends is coming by with her kids later though. Luckily, I'm stocked up with 🍷🍺🍾🍸🍹...... I see food delivery in the near future.

Happy Saturday! I'm at work. It's going relatively fast but I have a feeling these last 2.5 hours will crawl. I'm on a busy unit and am our "float" person who is on call to any uncovered area in the children's as well as adult hospital, so we'll see what comes up!

That is a tough situation. wedding I hope you two can talk when you're both calm and he realizes that as tough as it may be to take time off, he needs a break to regroup on all fronts, at work and at home.

So the cat peeing problem continues. He has narrowed it to only peeing on Cadence's things, so I will be buying treats and a stick toy for her to use with him. I will also start having her be the one that puts the food down at meal times. All of this in hope that they can create some sort of bond so that he stops peeing on her stuff. We have all of her stuff picked up and she's been great about cleaning up after playing now because who wants cat pee on their toys!?!

klongoria11, oh yikes. I can't smell but I gather from others that cat pee is a smell that doesn't quite go away. When our cats pee on something, MH goes nuts with bcaking soda, vinegar, resolve, ect, ut still doesn't feel satisfied.

wineallthetime, luckily it is mostly cloth, so I'm able to toss it in the washer. I use an enzyme cleaner in their litter box area that takers care of the smells in there.

We have had a lot of cloth stuff we have put through the washer that MH said we can't get out. I can't small and I'd say he's pretty sensitive to smell though. I do know we have tried just about everything.

Huh, that must have been some strong pee! I usually double up on the detergent on it comes out fine. Consider yourself lucky not to bee able to smell it though. It is a strong smell, but it at least helps us locate it.
klongoria11 is it stuff that C has peed on or just random stuff?
No, just random stuff. Her blankets, her bed, her hoodie, her backpack, her sleeping bag while she was sitting on it, her leotard, her tap shoes, some dress shoes. Random.

I don't consider it lucky since I can't detect it. I also can never detect a foul scent in my house. I miss poopy diapers if I don't see the warning signs that they're pooping. I can't sniff clothes to see of they're ok to wear. Can't smell a candle scent or any shampoo or body wash to know if they're ok smells to have around. I miss every amazing smell people talk about. I'm constantly paranoid my clothes, my kids, my breath, my house, ect smells cause I have no clue. I can't smell food I eat, which affects my taste. I can guarantee you, that although it's nice not to smell the gross stuff, having no sense of smell isn't ideal.
