My husband is home after 10 days away and I'm already kind of over it. He keeps touching me and I've so enjoyed the past 10 days of no one touching me. I mean, when you are nauseous and puking all day long any stimulation sucks. So him constantly rubbing my back, touching my leg, I feel like a horrible person but I just want to punch him.

Let him know how you feel. I had to tell my H not to touch me when I was feeling super nauseated. When it was really bad, he knew not to sit on the couch next to me, because just the movement of the couch would make me feel sick.

It's been gorgeous outside this week. It's been upper 50s. This morning I saw a man in shorts. Cracks me up. It's still in the 40s in the mornings.
That's hilarious. I miss the elation of the first spring days after a long winter. I remember putting flip flops on when it was in the 50s. Now I live in Texas and see people in hats and scarves when it's 70 outside. Hey, that's chilly for us!

salmon2017 that's why spring is my favorite season. Granted It isn't that pretty out yet, but I just love the feeling that winter is finally over. It's the hope of nice things to come that I love. Plus, the sun feels so nice and warm right now!

I'm going to the Opera tonight. My cousin is playing violin for it. I'm going with my other cousin. DH and I were going to go but we couldn't find a babysitter. He wasn't all that sad to miss it though. We basically only go because cousin is playing. I'm kind of excited to go tonight though. I've heard this opera is more like a musical and less opera like.

Good luck @wicky! House stuff is stressful but also exciting!
I'm so sick of the cold...and it's sleeting here. The worst of all worlds! I do love the spring though...if it ever gets here (my poor crocuses tried to come up and were murdered by Mother Nature).

I was so excited to take DS out for ice cream after work today (it is 85 here). We waited for MH to come home, walked 20 mins to the ice cream store, and I realized I had left my phone, cards, and cash at home. MH had not brought anything because he checked I had money as we were walking out the door. "Yes, in the bag" I had said. Nope, definitely not in the bag. Definitely on the kitchen counter. So we walked 20 mins back home ice creamless. It was so sad.

Pregnancy brain at its worst.
I went grocery shopping the other day and forgot I left my wallet in my jacket pocket. Luckily, I hadn't gone through the checkout line. It was still pretty bad leaving my grocery cart full of groceries at customer service.
@wicky, I have started packing too. I'm trying to be extremely organized with it and get rid of a ton of stuff while I do it. I just don't want to take a bunch of junk with us when we move. I feel like I'm being smothered by all the stuff.
Bummer about the offer @wicky but I'm glad you're getting so much done!
I've been lazy. I don't feel sick but I feel a little "off" today for some reason. I wanted to do a bunch of clothes culling and organizing, but I'm not sure it's going to happen today. I worked for a few hours this morning but I might just be a lump the rest of the day, hoping that will help me be productive tomorrow.

Whew. What a day. The ILs called this am and said they were on their way to town to babysit BILs kids. We had a birthday party on my side for our nephew...at the zoo. We had unlimited carousel rides at the party. After the festivities, the whole clan walked around the zoo. Our zoo is pretty small and not that impressive. We left that and went to go see the ILs. Then we went to Chipotle for supper and now are watching TV. I'm so tired. Bedtime soon for the kiddos.

I had a dr appointment on Thursday and they asked if I had my req for my anatomy scan and I said yep. Then got home and realized I didn't actually get it. So now I have to call and see if they'll fill one out for me to pick up since I'm 17 weeks and kind of need to book it. Oops.
@wicky, I'm sorry they rejected your offer. I love your positive attitude!
We decided not to go with the new construction home so we are back at square one too. It was at the top of our budget and DH wants us to be able to pay off our student loans and invest a large amount of money each month for our retirement. So we are headed back to Houston next week. That trip was so stressful with DS2, I hope he is calmer this time.
I have so much stuff to do. I started going through everything in the garage. I threw out half of the stuff I went through yesterday. It felt amazing. I also started packing up stuff we don't use but still need. I was lifting boxes of heavy books and when I sat down for dinner I realized I overdid it big time. So now, DS1 will be my heavy lifter.

I love throwing things out these days!! I am in full on purge mode. If we are fitting two more people (even very small ones) in this house we need to clear out lots and lots of space!!

wannabmama, sorry you're suffering from headaches. I am determined not to take anything we don't need or use with us to Houston. Some of the boxes we have in the garage we left in there from our last move and we have never even opened them. If we haven't missed that stuff in 3 years we don't need it!
