My sleep must be really awful lately, because last night I got about 6.5 hours that included getting out of bed to put DD1 back to sleep and pee and I feel more well rested than I have in weeks.
That said, there's someone in my apartment complex whose car alarm goes off EVERY freaking morning. Usually between 6 and 7:30 and it takes them for-freaking-ever to turn it off. I really should get the license plate and complain to management but when it goes off, I'm either trying to go back to sleep myself or comforting DD because it upsets her and wakes her up.
Today I'm going grocery shopping with my mom cause she's making us a ton of freezer meals! I'm insisting on paying for the food this time because she literally just did this for us 18 months ago when DD was born and the cooking is the hard work haha. Last time she made us SO much food. Like a months worth. I was super grateful but told her she doesn't have to do quite so much this time haha.

Omg the car alarm thing would drive me crazy. I would definitely try to get the plate # one of these days!
Just woke up and DH is getting ready for work. He WFH W-Fri last week, but he needs to go in today and I'm sad about it. I'm going to be so bored and lonely all day/week, just sittin around and hoping to go into labor. My boss was on vacation when I started my leave, but he should be back today and I'm sort of hoping he asks for some help with stuff - THAT is how bored I am.
If I start feeling really ambitious, I'll do DH's idea and go shopping and make a few batches of cookie dough to freeze. Cookies have been off-limits since my GD diagnosis but I miss baking SO much and can't wait to stuff my face once baby is born - which, whether he's ready or not, will happen on Friday!
Agreed - that car alarm would drive me bonkers! I almost feel like someone in my condo complex 12 yrs ago had the same issue! All this food talk is making me hungry. Has anyone had really bad late 3rd tri hunger pangs?! I feel like I've been eating more here lately We are also planning on buying groceries for my mom as well since I'm putting her on cooking duty lol! I love my mom and all and she does want to "help" out when baby is here but she's best doing stuff like meal prep rather than other things.
MH & a friend refinished the flooring in the nursery yesterday. We are supposed to get a couple of more pieces of furniture delivered today (changing table & dresser - crib was delivered Saturday). Can't wait to put everything together - maybe that will cause me to labor! MH is already on leave - which is awesome!
Hope you ladies have a great day and sending labor vibes to all of us who are close enough for it!!!

My mom is also going to be doing freezer meal stuff for us! She'll be here for about two weeks after baby is here and has requested we try to have a mostly empty freezer so that she can fill it for us. She actually did this when she came to visit in may and it'd been so nice in third tri to just pull something out of the freezer and not really have to cook.
I'm hanging out at work today per usual. Only one appt and the write up from it will go really quickly so I don't have too much to do. I'm so ready for this baby to come. 39 weeks today!
Me (30) MH (32) Dx: MFI (low all the things) M. 10/11. TTC Since 01/14 IUI#1-3(Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN Second Opinion. Changed RE's. IVF 09/15 Long Lupron 12R/9M/8F, Transferred 1=BFN. 4 frosties. FET #1 12/15 Transferred 1 (3 still on ice)
Who is still pregnant? We had a crazy busy weekend that finally included a little prep for this baby.
This is my last week of work, whether the baby comes this week or not! Dr appointment at noon. Crossing all the things that my body is making some progress.
Hello ladies! Not much sleep in this house last night. I need a sound proof room for diaper changes, because the baby hates it and her screams wake up the toddler every time. Coffee please!
I have decided to venture out for the first time by myself with both girls today. Wish me luck!
We had a super busy weekend! Saturday I took DD to Ikea, Costco, and the playground solo. Yesterday we went l the zoo, two grocery stores, cleaned, and made a cake. I got in over 10k steps both days, but I think it paid off. This morning around 4 I felt a pop while dealing with a sobbing DD and I think my water broke. 8 days late, but on it's own. No solid contractions yet and it's a slow leak, but hopefully it means #2 is coming.
I did way too much this weekend. I knew it was going to happen (work Friday, dinner out, work Saturday morning, my sister's all day, work all day yesterday, back at work today) but my back and pelvis are angry.
I'm going to try to finish early today and go home.
A pumpkin seems ...heavy. No wonder my back and pelvis are screaming.
hummingbird125, can you treat yourself to a pedicure today? My doula has suggested little treats every so often during the last few weeks so you have something to look forward to beside going into labor.
AFM I'm 38 weeks today and totally on the struggle bus. Feeling sore, constant heart burn, and feverish. Had some strong but irregular contractions that woke me up last night, but I'm not hopeful that it will lead to anything, but bags are packed JIC...
My weekend was pretty boring which was nice. Saturday we did some grocery shopping and I took a nap. Sunday, MH cleaned a little and I slept some more and finished packing my hospital bag.
My CWs are surprised I'm still here, ummmm where am I supposed to be? I might ask my OB tomorrow to write a note stating when my last day of work is because I'm just tired of the privacy invasion. I feel like that will never end though. My kid will be the office-baby......😡

I feel this way, too, sometimes! I'm glad I'm not alone.
This child will not. stop. moving. against my taught, painful uterine and abdominal muscles. We're rolling and kicking and running legs over hands to re-arrange. Mother of god - STOP. It all hurts.
@suesposa I will kill someone if they cancel you again. Hope you got something yummy for breakfast and that induction goes quickly. I'm walking around and have some abdominal pain and then back pain when nursing, but it's all normal stuff.

I actually hate getting my nails done, I'm a weirdo, lol. There is still a bunch of crap going on with DH's job, so I'm trying my best to spend as little $ as possible right now. Aaand I can't even eat fun things. As far as treating myself, my iced coffee while watching the Olympics will have to do!
thelorax - Good luck!!! Please send some of those labor vibes my way?
The doula I met can't make it. She has a good reason, but I'm bummed. Her backup just called me said she could swing by to meet me, but thought I lived in Boulder- I live in SE Denver. Not close together especially in Monday morning traffic.
I had never heard of inductions being cancelled until it happened to my coworker. She was 42 weeks, went in, and they were like "No beds! Come back another day." Omg!
And now so many here are having this happen. I wonder if we're an especially cancelled-on group or this is becoming normal? I have no idea.
I read FertilityFriend Pregnancy updates each week on Mondays (when I change weeks). They give short blurbs about what is going on with the baby this week and a separate one for how I should be feeling each week. I've found them spot on, informative, and not cutesy - so a win, win, win for Joy.
The blurb for me this week made me teary. Why? I have no idea. But, for all the other 38 weekers in the crowd:
You surely feel very large and uncomfortable but you're almost at the end of your pregnancy! You can expect your weight to remain stable now. Your cervix will soften and begin to partially open. You may be having strong Braxton Hicks contractions as your uterus prepares to give birth to your baby! You're almost there!
joy, @suesposa, my induction was originally supposed to be Friday, but I asked to change it to Saturday. When I got here and chatted with the nurse, she said that if I had come on Friday, there wouldn't have been any rooms available. When that happens, they bump each induction back to the next time, causing a little bit of a chain reaction. Ugh.
