I'll be popping in and out. Just left the nicu and pumped there. And it's almost time to pump again at home. I'm getting an ounce each session which is about 1.5 feedings for one baby, so I'm going to try to power pump to get a bit ahead of them. Gonna be a long night!
Well hello! No outside baby here, just night two of supermoon pregsomnia. Good times. I may pop in and out, depending on if I can get back to sleep, but wanted to stop and say "Hi!!!"
I'm so loopy @tmg14 I saw the word twins in your last post and I was like squee more twins! .... ohh wait...
The only twins i now have are these girls on my chest.
How are your babes doing?
Bahaha!
Thanks for asking, they're doing great! Growing really well, finally fitting into some newborn size clothes, and even starting to get a tiny bit of chub on them. They're freaking adorable if I do say so myself
Hello! I've been up for about 2 hours. I did some work and still wide awake. This is loony. My alarm clock will be going off in about an hour. Can today be my last day going to work?

Present! I've been up since about 3:30. I've peed 6 times tonight. Still have 4.5 weeks to go. October is going to be a loooong month for me.
I love reading all the outside baby posts. Although it's making me nervous to breast feed. It seems like there are a million little speed bumps you have to go over. Hang in there guys.. And teach me when I'm there.
It's super adjustable because it has a big velcro panel in the back and an extra zip-in panel for the front. I'm normally a 34-36D when pregnant/nursing (34C when not preg)--I got the XS-L and I still could have extended it another 4-5 inches around.
I bought a second one when I went back to work so I could keep one at home and one in my work bag.
Another vote for the Simple Wishes bra...it was amazing and worth every penny. I only had one with DS and I basically nursed in the morning and then exclusively pumped the rest of the time and one was enough for me, but I was having to wash it every couple days so having a back up would be nice. I got a new one for this time and still have my old....it's awfully dingy after a year of use, lol.
I'm having a hard time figuring out my pumping schedule for the day. I do really well overnight and in the mornings, but the afternoons/evening I'm finding that I'm only getting in about 3 sessions due to errands, dinner, life.
I'm writing my TY notes for my last shower (I'm a procrastinator this time around) and I'm looking at the notes written down for me by one of the Hostesses. Gift from one person: "box of gifts from buy buy baby". Well, that's helpful. Guess it'll be a more generic card than the others.

Anyone have any pointers?
I am not & have not EP'd a newborn. I did start EPing with my daughter when she was about 3 months. I pumped in the car some. I would hook everything up, drive where I needed to go, and then unhook when I arrived. I'm impressed you are doing so well overnight. That's awesome! I ended up supplementing a little bit with formula, and once I gave myself that permission, pumping went better, because I wasn't so stressed about every little ounce that came out.
link7913 that's awesome that you used the car. Did you have a special adapter? They are supplementing with formula since I'm not making enough for both of them yet. I'm so worried about getting engorged so I feel like I really need a system in place.
Here. Just finished feeding and then he had the biggest poop.
Question for everyone -- earlier i had the uncontrollable shakes and shivers. It wouldnt stop and DH had to pile blankets on me until it subsided. Anyone ever have this happen to them? Maybe PP hormones?
Hmm I had this for a few hours right after I delivered but I think it was from one of the meds they gave me. Hope you're doing better now!

kbrooke06 I EP'ed for DD1 for 4 months until she learned how to latch. I had major supply issues and I was on an insane schedule, I think it was 9x/day for 30 minutes. Looking back I have no idea how or why I stuck with that!
Anyways, it totally sucked but I had to take advantage of the help I had from H and family, and prioritized pumping over everything else for a while. But also please don't drive yourself crazy, I'm glad you're out and about and still living your life during this time, which I definitely didn't! You're doing an amazing job, hugs!
I have the Medela PISA. I'm having a hard time prioritizing I guess. The biggest gaps I'm taking is when I'm with the babies at the hospital. I just really need to pay attention to how long I'm there, it always overlaps with a pump session time. And Squishy, I totally should have clarified lol. I'm either at the hospital or home. Yesterday we went to Target, but that was just to get things we thought we had time to get before babies. I'm thinking of in the future, since I'm already having problems making sure I get it done.

kbrooke06, frantastic, and somesay pretty much covered it. The car adaptor defiantly isn't as strong you should be able to pick it up at BRU. I would pump while at the hospital and see if they have a pump you can use there. Their pump will probably be better than yours since it is hospital grade. I would download a breast feeding app with a timer. I used feed baby lite. When the timer goes off you pump.
@usernamesarehard I had one nursing bra when they came. We hit up target the morning after I was discharged for tops. I ordered bras from my hospital bed. With the top pulled down, you're basically naked anyways. I'm always freezing when pumping!
