Does anyone else have super dry skin? I swear my face looks and feels like the Sahara desert. There doesn't seem to be enough moisturizer on the planet.
And I'm over here sprouting zits like they're going out of style. Hormones are weird.
Are y'all that have babies older than a week still taking stool softeners? I've been taking 1 a day, which had been sufficient, but I guess I need more... TMI but I had the most awful poo today and my bum and crotch feel terrible from it. Holy ouch.
I stopped taking mine when I went back to my normal pooping schedule (about once every 24 hours), but I generally eat a lot of fiber so I'm not dealing with painful poops :/ Hope that eases up!

I stopped but it didn't go well so I started taking them again

Sort of. And holy blackheads. Blergh, how do you get rid of them?
I have no idea. I have them all over my nose. It's awful. I'm almost scared to go out in public.
SO. TIRED. OF WEARING PADS. I know there's still more to go before it ends, but I'm ready to be done.
4 weeks out and still wearing them. Everytime I think the bleeding stops I get red blood again. I can at least downgrade from the overnights. But yeah I fn HATE pads.

Same but three weeks out. I'm so tired of bleeding. Ready to be done.

I've been making really bad food decisions lately. But how the hell do you eat when LO wont let you put her down. This morning I had 5 mini Cadbury eggs for breakfast because that's all I could find to shove in my mouth fast enough.

a friend of mine had cupcakes delivered and that's what I had for breakfast and lunch the first few days home.
I have zero fox for what number the scale says. I will call it good when my jeans fit over my butt again. Last time, I lost weight and changed shape so don't trust just the numbers!
Oh yeah, I'm not just using numbers and calling it quits. I have some major work to do once I can start exercising again. My wedding rings still don't fit, but they definitely did when I was pregnant at this weight. It's just nice seeing that big drop at first.
I've read some places that the topical retin-a creams are ok while nursing (whereas oral retin-a is not), while other articles say avoid retin-a altogether. Problem is, you have a limited window to apply those creams while the marks are still fresh - if you wait until they whiten, like when you wean the baby after a year, retin-a does nothing to help the marks. Thoughts? Have you asked your docs?
Have you tried asking this on the breastfeeding board? They may have some better insight.
Breastfeeding board and the NP at my pedi's office both said topical OTC retinol creams are ok for breastfeeding, in case anyone was wondering. I'm considering getting one because supposedly they help a lot more if you use them when the marks are new and red.

Let us know which one you get. Im interested in this as well.
Im avoiding trying them on. Im giving myself a free pass until my 6week pp appointment.
At this point with DS I could wear my pre-preg jeans, but this time is a no go for sure thanks to my hips/thighs.
Ready to get back into exercise classes again!
Have not tried bc ew pants and also since we moved here in 3rd tri I have no clue where my non maternity clothes are. But my maternity jeans keep falling down, I don't think I could get my reg jeans on yet though. I am about 5 lbs up from my pre-preg weight but I was 5ish lbs up from my usual weight when I got preg. My tummy is a weird pile of mush. The MW said I could start light abs work at 4 wks, so 1 more week!

You pretty much described my life. Minus the ab workout.
I have been feeling so good but today I feel like I did a few days out. I just had to have H carry LO upstairs so we can chill in bed. No idea what's going on, hopefully I just over did it yesterday/today and I'll feel better tokorrow

Check out Jag Jeans. They are a nice transition back into normal pants. Elastic waists FTW. Plus people who know more than I do tell me they are actually fashionable.

I don't even want to try on my maternity jeans. I've been wearing PJ pants and sweat pants. Or just walking around in my depends diaper. I'm a mess haha
Guys when will my vag stop hurting? C turns one month on Saturday. Shouldn't it be healed by now? So much itching and pain still!
Not what you want to hear but I had aching and throbbing last time through about 14-16 weeks PP. It was worse when I was on my feet for a while... don't know if that's because of increased blood flow or what.
