Had to put pads on the Target list for tomorrow. Totally thought last time I bought a pack it would be enough. Boo. Luckily I was already going to Target tomorrow to pick up Easter candy on sale
Had my pp appointment this week, and was cleared for excercise. Boo. So now i am on the treadmill walking at 2.5 and it is embarrassing how winded and sore i am!
One day at a time. The point is your trying which is better then me sitting on my ass eating Easter candy.

Did anyone deal with your chest feeling tight after baby? I told my doctor about it and he said if I have any shortness of breath, racing heart to let him know. Well I sort of do, but the shortness of breath was from walking to leave the hospital. Of course I'm also crazy tired and feeling super emotional and anxious and the more I think about it the worse my chest feels and makes my heart race, so I can't figure out what is what. If it still feels off tomorrow would you call? Baby was just born Monday as a reminder.
OK I think I'm leaking urine... my pads stink. Doing all the kegels. Any other words of wisdom.
They have that new tampon like thing to help with bladder incontinence. Its called poise impressa. It may help for a little but until your muscles get back in shape.

Possible TMI warning
So I went to change out my pantyliner (yay to no more buckets of blood) and I freaked out for a bit thinking I had worms. Nope! Just my stitches finally falling out.

Tell me I'm not the only one with a body that just won't heal. I tore pretty badly and it just keeps reopening and hurts so bad. My check up is on Monday. I told H not to get his hopes up on resuming sex anytime soon, which sucks because I actually miss it.

I would be really concerned that it keeps reopening. It shouldn't be doing that. I would make sure you are very clear about this with your OB. Are you sure it isn't infected at all?

Not positive it isn't infected but it is so hard to see what the heck is going on down there. I don't think so though.I will definitely have my OB take a good look and hopefully she can restitch or something. I was pretty sure it wasn't normal, I mean, we are going on 6 weeks tomorrow.
I'm doing surprisingly well but the hospital did not get me a belly binder even though I was told I would get one before discharge (which LOL, why does this surprise me?) but I forgot on my way out because I wanted to be home so badly. I feel a little floppy in the lower belly region.
I've probably done more than I should considering I'm 8 days out from surgery- we've been to doctors appointments for baby and gone to target/ikea/BBB/grocery store and I've been walking part of our path. But I feel good.
Except for in the poop department. The colace seems to be doing jack diddly squat- I'm sure it's actually helping and I just can't tell but OW.

I read in a thread on parenting to use a pillow as counterpressure on your incision when pooping. It will help to prevent excess strain on your ab muscles.

That helped when I was barfing after the csection. I will try that. Thank you!!

This is why I can't believe they have you wait 6 weeks before being seen. Your stitches are hidden and you poop and pee right next to the area. It's just an infection waiting to happen.

Don't you go at 2 also? Was that just me? I went at 2 weeks PP and go back at 6. That does seem insane to just go at 6!

Did you have a section?
For me it was only at 6 weeks unless I had major complications.
And yeah, it's total bullshit to go that long without someone taking a gander at your stitches.
